Impression of the freshmen?

I think Wenger won scout team player of the week once, but thats all I've heard other than the o-lineman in general have been impressive.

Weis said that he could tell that Wenger went to the same school as Young by what he is seeing from him. If it was not for a broken bone in his arm, he would have been playing this year. He is the only person I have heard much about from your list since the season started.

Memory may be somewhat off on some of these (too lazy to go re-check source of all of these); take for what it is worth. Wish I could have attended some practice live:
D Jones: Apparently was giving the 1st team defence 'fits' when he was running the scout team simulating Navy/AF. Apparently he was hard to stop, and it was more than just 'running'; if I recall correctly, his arm was strong.
D Wenger: nothing more than the earlier comments
E Olsen: I thought that he had received some accolades for scout team work (but going from memory on this), and that he showed very good aggressiveness (apparently at pretty tough dude)
W Yeatman: There was an article in Inside Lacrosse magazine where they quote John Carlson saying that Will is currently more imposing then him, that Will is way ahead physically of where Carlson was at the same age. They go on to praise his freakish athleticism, and his hand-eye coordination (to be expected from his Lacrosse). May be a bit hypish, but they talk about how he will be spoken of in terms of NFL draftability. I actually will be at the store later today, and will try to find the article (and be a little more accurate).
Those are all that I recall at this point; as mentioned earlier

Like I have said before. DJ will start next year. He is a freak athletically and looked very good in the practices during the year, and if you notice he was always by weis's side whenever quinn was coming to the sideline of weis was shown on tv. DJ is hungry!!!!!!!!

Wenger is just mean looking with the semi mullet, but we have a great future no matter what. We haven't seen this type of talent in Nd in years. The NC is coming baby. Not next year but it will be here sooner than later.

Yeah, but North Carolina's inept offense also gave the our first-team defense "fits." I can't put too much value in this.
