Gip I believe they have another game. I thought this weekend was there last game also, I was actually shocked to hear they had another one. It doesn't make sense for them to hold the championship and semis in the same day, but I could've swore this game was the championship game.

"I’ve been watching Notre Dame games with my grandfather since I was little," Joseph said. "He had always been pushing me toward Notre Dame and since none of his sons had the chance, when I got it, I had to jump on it."

Joseph gave Charlie Weis and the Notre Dame staff his verbal commitment the day after the Blue and Gold Game in April of 2007.

I sure hope that Joseph gets his "problems" resolved and rejoins the team next semester. If Raggone has injury issuues again, that is going to really hurt the TE "options".

Any further details on what exactly drove Joseph to leave ND?

Just make up a rumor, post it on a message board and watch it spread. Streaking, fighting, cheating, it's all been thrown out there. My lady heard the story from someone at ND, but we don't know if it's true so I'm not going to post it here. What is pretty much clear from everyone 'in the know' is that it wasn't as innocent as he made it seem to be. But the university is precluded by law from talking, so it's anybody's guess at this point...

Fauria was like a poor man's Eifert at UCLA, played detached from the line and had some good games. Always a likeable kid.

I went to see the Lions in training camp last year and probably will go again this year so looking forward to seeing how he gets on. They have a solid group already with Scheffler, Pettigrew, Heller and now Michael Johnson so he will be up against it to stick.

made the 53 man roster for the Detroit Lions. Helped by the fact Michael Williams got hurt and was sent to IR. He'll be third on the depth chart behind Pettigrew and Scheffler.
