Growing up getting smoked by teams like Carroll’s USC or Saban’s Alabama, I will never take for granted our current “boring” Saturdays. I love every second of it, and I think it is just the coolest thing that we are that kind of program now

Heck yes!
I've rewatched each game 2-3 times soaking it in.

This defense has a couple higher gears it hasn't even needed to shift into thus far in the season. I feel sorry for the first team they decide to level up on.

This is a big game for the offense to show improvement. Purdue was a confidence builder, but the UNC defense is significantly better. They'll probably have their best player back this weekend. I'm hoping this is Carr's best game of the year and a mylan graham coming out party.

As for the D, they just need to be locked in and keep doing what they're doing, keep improving. I'd like to see some clear improvement from the interior DL (especially early in the game) and the LBs (especially against UNC's TE). I think UNC is going to do a lot of things in the short pass game with miss direction, PA, boot legs, etc to get their TE the ball against our LBs. Our LBs struggled with that vs MSU.

Struggled ? MSU passed for a whopping 123 yards. I'll take that kind of "struggle" every week.

I think this is the game that basically puts Belichick's tenure in the coffin.

Anybody recall when Clemson went down to Miami in 2015 with Al Golden on the hottest of seats and they won 58-0.

I get the feeling it's going to be similar to that. ND's run game comes alive, the UNC defense quits early, their offense continues to be dysfunctional and you can just feel the pink slip being slid under Bill's office door.

I feel like this will be close this week. Being an early game on the road I just don’t think we are going to dominate like we have in 3 of our first 4 games.

Hope the team is awake and ready tomorrow. These early games are always wack
