Yep. Look out for the whales. No, this stadium goes all the way to the ground. So if you’re in the first rows you’ll be watching the game on the jumbo tronWhy? Is that like the splash section at Sea World?

Wow! That’s how you’re so active in the game day thread!
All you need is a funnel for bathroom breaks!
Agreed.. On the other hand, I don't trust Belichick to be telling the whole truth either. If indeed the Irish do see Melkart, I would expect he is 90-100% ready to play.Per II - the star DE Melkart isn’t a sure thing to play and even if he does play, he likely won’t be 100%. Brutal for them.
At some point as a ND fan you just want your team tested lol
Agree... kinda sucks when they play the "conference games are more important so might as well rest for one more week" card.Per II - the star DE Melkart isn’t a sure thing to play and even if he does play, he likely won’t be 100%. Brutal for them.

There's a funnel with a tube attached so you don't miss a play as well as a breathalizer. For an extra $50, I'll throw in the lift function to help you get up.I need to stand every other drink to see just how drunk I am. I judge intoxication by how bad I stumble up the stairs!

Not that that's what's going on here, but it happens.
Nah eff that, the moment we have a single close game the narrative will shift to "see! told you they aren't good." I want ND to stomp teams into oblivion and get the starters out early.Per II - the star DE Melkart isn’t a sure thing to play and even if he does play, he likely won’t be 100%. Brutal for them.

Tests are good but UNC is more of a thorn in the side type game. They might do a few things but nothing that should really stress any pressure point besides maybe the OL. Purdue or Stanford being the best passing attack we play before Miami is inconvenient. SMU before Miami would have been a better “test” type game.
I think their ceiling against ND is 20 points. I predict they’ll score 13.how are they offensively? Petrino is a good enough play caller that if he has some dudes then that could be an issue, but the only two times i've seen them the weather was less than ideal
Excellent point. Sconny has the highest points scored against the defense so far this year with 13. In their other games, they scored 36, 54, and 24. The 24 was a night game @PSU where Colton Joseph gave up the ball multiple times. ND is currently #1 overall in FEI's defensive rankings, but Penn State is 14th. Since Clemson (22nd) and TCU (36th) held UNC to 15 and 20, shouldn't we expect UNC's offensive ceiling to be about 10?If you only score 15 against TCU and 20 against Clemson, I don't think you're ceiling is 20 points on the Irish defense unless the game got out of hand and the backups are in.
Agree. Didn't hurt IU last year.Nah eff that, the moment we have a single close game the narrative will shift to "see! told you they aren't good." I want ND to stomp teams into oblivion and get the starters out early.
Hard to feel bad when the ACC schedule usually has all their teams coming off a bye when they play against ND. Kinda like this week lol@ Clemson, vs ND, @ Pitt, @ Duke was no favors by the ACC, even with the bye. There are certainly teams out there that just look towards conference play in some decision making versus us.
Exactly. When ND was killing Rice, my buddies were c'mon and turn it to another game, this is boring. Not to me. I want ND to destroy every team. I want it to be when I played Madden and did create a player for all 22 positions and I'm winning 255-0 (it stopped scoring after that). Much like when I hear "I want USC to be undefeated when we play them and beat them." Forget that - I want USC 0-12 every. single. year.Nah eff that, the moment we have a single close game the narrative will shift to "see! told you they aren't good." This, injected right into my veins...which is a feature on "THE CHAIR", right? That's why THE SHIRT is a short sleeve T.Yeah, after nearly 40 years of waiting for the next championship, I'm soaking up every last beat down regardless of circumstances. UNC's problems are not my problems. That goes for everyone else who simply ain't us.

Growing up getting smoked by teams like Carroll’s USC or Saban’s Alabama, I will never take for granted our current “boring” Saturdays. I love every second of it, and I think it is just the coolest thing that we are that kind of program nowA co-worker asked me if I ever got tired of watching ND bludgeon opponents because it seemed so boring to him. Think I had the same look on my face as John Candy in that clip from Uncle Buck. "....No."
