NBC Sports Network returned a few months ago. It shows the live sporting event of Peacock
Ah got it, that's good to know. I've been booted several times from the Peacock stream over the years so this is great news.

It's not on Hulu+ Live. I may got watch it somewhere or just pay the $12/peacock for the month and then cancel.

Great news about NBC Sports. I didn't even get the app last time because I didn't feel like going through the annual subscription-cancellation cycle that begins immediately before the Peacock exclusive game and ends 5 minutes after conclusion of said game.

probably safe to assume the NBC sports channel is on the sports only tier of Youtube TV?

Anyone with Xfinity cable Internet (Comcast) needs to check if they get Peacock for free.

They call their subs a membership now (don't get me started on that subject) and award perks based in part on how long you've "been a member."

I only have their Internet (not tv sub) but have had it for 20 years, so I get "platinum level" perks, of which a free sub to peacock premium is one.

You may be able to get that so check it out

I have to be honest though, I hate that someone threw quotes around words that aren't put in a way to show what he said at all. The quote in the tweet is an amalgamation of sentences he said there.

In reality he danced around that pretty heavily. Sounds like he would prefer not to have a guaranteed loss on his schedule which makes sense for a dude who will be fighting for his job in the next couple of years, but he acknowledged that if it is best for the school, they will continue playing ND. I'm going to guess that the admin wants the draw and the money and wouldn't want to remove ND from the schedule unless they thought they actually have a fringe playoff team.

But is Purdue week so...

BOILER DOWN BABY! PUCK FURDUE! They're too scared to play us!

Joey O’Brien / Long are going to be tested big time if Talich can’t go. Browne actually has been good against both UCLA and Wake, they just can’t run the ball and their defense is still very bad.

UCLA had 370 rush yards on 7.7ypc. If this isn’t the running games coming out party I’m just convinced it’s not happening. It’s game 4 now, not game 1.

I could definitely see this being a 45-20 type game Due to a couple coverage busts and us playing back ups in the 2nd while Browne is still slinging it. Unlike MSU, Purdue isn’t capable of sitting on the ball through the run game, so don’t expect only 10 possessions again.

Notre Dame gets good, and no one wants a part anymore. Pussies.

I blame Freeman.

All QBs are worse when pressured, duh, but Browne’s splits are stark this year.

81% down to 46% Completion %.

28% Pressure Rate.

He was actually only pressured on 29% of throws last season against ND. 64% to 42% drop. That of course was the Ash changed the 2H, Freeman intervened, rush with 4 etc debacle. He was one of the worst QBs in the P4 against pressure last year. The key there is improvements have not shown up in that department.

Most of their production has come from the slot and YAC. Also will throw to the RB. It’ll be a big Christian Gray game, and we likely even see Golden given the safety injuries as well. The path secondary wise is there. They pick on Gray, LBs, JOB/Long, and maybe Golden. McKinney/Moore won’t be busy. The key will be the DL can make that very difficult.

The DE's will have their ears pinned back for this one.

I feel dumb for taking Purdue under 14.5 before hearing Talich would be out, because I do think it changes how much you want to "trust" your free safety if they're a true freshman or a young guy with limited experience. Pretty easy to bust and give up a big play or two.

WITH THAG BEING SAID -- I think we will learn this Saturday that "pass first" teams are in a LOT of trouble against this pass rush and secondary. As good as our run defense stats are, I think a team that wants to throw the ball is going to learn the same lessons as 2nd half Wisconsin and MSU.

You gotta dial up pressure right away and make him have to get the ball out. Bring the same pressure you did against MSU in the second half.

This is where ND flexes it's depth. Our 4th safety is a 5* freshman and all our 5th safety (Long) does is make plays when he gets reps.

If they target JOB Saturday, what's more likely, a bust/ TD or a pbu or int? Could be a coming out party for the lanky frosh... his length and instincts will surprise some qb's.

This response might be an amalgamation of sentences trying to convince yourself you didn't hear what you didn't want to hear.

Nothing in Odom's response gave an indication that he doesn't want the game, but the admin does.

If PU is going to drop us we might as well get our money’s worth and drop another 60 on them.
