The Moops.

I seriously think there's more practices he forces a turnover than he doesn't

KMac151993 · Aug 13, 2026

Just a guy that makes the most of his limited opportunities...type of guy programs need.

NDFAN2008 · Aug 13, 2026

He probally is your starting safety next year if one of Johnson or Schular leave.

Could see Adon maybe coming back next year. But Brauntae is likely gone if he performs up to expectations this year.

Or he could leave this year if he receives a 3rd round draft grade.

My wife's coworker is married to someone that runs a printing business making custom apparel. They had a canceled order that included a Talich hoodie that they passed along to me knowing I'm an ND fan. This was back when he was a freshman. So I've been rocking with Luke from before he was even playing lol.

Talich & O'Brien safety combo in 2027...hello

Not with pads on. Watch his int return vs FSU. I initially thought it was walk-on. He was almost caught by their QB, Brock Glenn, who runs a 4.78 40. Glenn was significantly faster than Talich.

I keep receipts. Permanent ones.

Long striding 4.5 and a 4.6x pursuing with an angle it can happen. Glenn ran that time as a rising SR in HS and is a bit faster since then.

I wish every sports highlight video used the same unbelievably shitty trap music.

Oh wait. It does.

I really like seeing him on the field with Shuler and Tae. Hopefully we do sooner then later

Running the 40 doesn't equate directly to game speed.

BeatSC · Sep 11, 2026

Talich appears to have great football IQ. Has been a sure tackler and doesn’t find himself out of position as far as I can tell. Don’t like Tae hurt but I don’t think we see a drop off.

Tae potentially can be a top 50 pick in the next draft.

This dude is a baller. What a gem they found here. This dude is becoming my favorite player.

NDpendent · Sep 19, 2026

Luke, I am your father. Hell of a game tonight son.

IrishLax · Sep 19, 2026

Are we going to do the weekly bedwetting thing or be chill this time?

Jimmy3Putt · Sep 19, 2026

Baller.

GoldenToTheGrave · Sep 19, 2026

When was the last time we had this caliber of "backup"?

Riddickulous · Sep 20, 2026

3 tackles, 1.5 TFL, a sack, a PD, and a pick. Did a little bit of everything last night.

NDFAN2008 · Sep 20, 2026

Dudes gonna be a stud and have a long NFL career i’m curious if he comes back for another year I honestly think he’s better than the Oregon safety the Bears drafted in the first round

LifelongFan · Sep 20, 2026

He would have been the best safety on all of the Kelly teams pre-Hamilton. Stud.

I think he does. You pay him and your top 3 Safeties next year are Talich, O'Brien, and Long.

And Talich will be top 40. Guy makes plays and is in the right place at the right time. High football IQ.

Whoa now. Kelly had Harrison Smith for 2 seasons

Fair. He feels even earlier but he was on the Sun Bowl team (and had a great game iirc).

3 picks that game I think.
