“He has a great combination of size and speed,” Sanford said. “As a sophomore, I had the chance to advise his recruitment, and I knew that people wouldn’t trust that he was fast like I knew he was unless he ran track. It was his third track meet last year, and he ran a 10.67 in the 100 meters. At that point, the phone got pretty active.”

White guy running a 10.67 will need to be verified.

Sanford sounds so cringe

Even if it’s a bit of self-promotion, good for Sanford for helping the kid make a decision that helped his future.

Most coaches today seem to appreciate the value of letting kids be multi-sport athletes, but I also know some coaches want to keep those kids in football workouts as much as possible

Watched the 1st half. Coleman definitely looks like an elite athlete out there and made some pretty good catches. Titus also looks pretty good. Not sure how good the competition is though, I know nothing about that league.

Valor Christian is arguably the highest profile high school football program in Colorado.

Sanford is also a host on local sports radio. He listed all the schools his players have the other day and there’s a lot of D1, including some P5, talent but he put emphasis on Notre Dame’s name when he said it (as he often does.)
