if anyone else self reports, they get a slap on the wrist
ND self reporting earns the nuclear option
I beg to differ. In '07, Bama self-reported that several scholarship athletes, including 7 football players, had taken advantage of an oversight in the system at the university bookstore to use their scholarship to get free textbooks for friends and girlfriends between '05 and '07. We reported it to the NCAA almost immediately and suspended the 5 players still with the program for 4 games. The NCAA investigation found no evidence (and little potential) for any students financially profiting from what they'd done, since the textbooks had to be returned at the end of the semester, not sold. Even after self-reporting and the NCAA finding no evidence of the athletes profiting or doing anything other than scamming the system to get free books for others, they hit us with 3 years of probation and vacated 21 games that those players had played in, including all 7 victories from 2007. Self-reporting should be rewarded, but as you ND people know, it's just a good way to bend yourself over and beg to get jail-sexed by the NCAA.

That was before Saban. Wanna bet they would do it now?
You look harder and you will find that the vast majority of those that self report get off with minimal penalties
and then you have North Carolina and for how many years they had shenanigans going on about so called classes and they stonewalled and did all they could to hide it and what penalty did THEY get?

2007 was Saban's first year. I agree with you about how ridiculous it is that UNC and others who lawyer up and stonewall get off with a slap on the wrist (think Auburn 2010), while trying to do the right thing gets you killed.

Auburn grad Tim Cook hasn’t ever donated to Auburn athletics, so new coach Alex Golesh flew out to Cupertino to try and change that.

Two thoughts come to mind:
Team building & those two should watch some boxing matches for a few tips.

The lighter skinned (or white kid, cant tell) cannot fight at all. That was... something to watch
But more importantly, why did a player upload this to X? I am sure fights happen on every team to some extent, but why not keep it in the locker room?

Ray Lewis was a State Champion wrestler. A LOT of NFL players were high school wrestlers. One of my son's early wrestling coaches was a lineman at Clemson when they were winning national championships. In high school, he got an offer from the defending national champions in football AND the defending national champions in wrestling (Penn State). 350lbs and one of the fastest, quickest people I have ever seenup close. Just a complete freak.
