I think this visit was always about hoping to get into the top 5 range, surge the relationship with him and hope to get him back in the June time frame with his parents for an official.

Great class but would leave me wishing they lamded one more elite skill position guy, and one of the elite OL they’ve been working on. That DL class on the heels of last years class and the portal adds that wilk have eligibility left…stacked.

I would love it. Continue recruiting some of those BPAs. I personally would like them to take another slot/field type WR, but I do understand the budget may not allow that. You keep recruiting the big 2 OL. Texas A&M just landed OG Kennedy Brown. Could that help us with Simien? Not opposed to taking a fifth DB. Keep targeting a LB too.

I need to watch some of Muhammad. He good?

I think ND is going to continue looking for a an extra skill position player that they feel is underrated and who they don't have to pay fortune for. They've been mining for those guys lately...

Would guess they're just making the rounds for the visit period. Only '27s are Fryman and Driver. Don't think Fryman's offer is actionable.

I'm concerned about the DL recruiting, seems like we are in on a lot of guys but not sitting #1 with any. Seems like we are either sitting 2nd or 3rd.

We lead for Vaughn, Sesay, Parks and Folorunsho (if we are near/match Miami in $)
I also believe we can land Fakatou if they want to commit the resources.
That's not to mention A ONeal (probably the leader) and Xavier Muhammad who they are certainly in the top group for.

The Gold Standard: Where Notre Dame stands with elite targets after Blue-Gold weekend

Notre Dame had a handful of major targets on campus for its annual Blue-Gold Game, and the buzz coming out of the weekend is very positive. As always, Blue & Gold has the intel on how things went after talking with various sources.

Notre Dame feels good about Fakatou.

Singer thinks if the NIL offer is right ND should land Folorunsho. Doesn’t think Texas Tech is a factor. Only OV date he gave Singer was ND June 12th.

Singer said Vaughn reclassifying has legs. He likes ND either way.

They feel great about Sesay too.

My assumption is that the reason he came for another visit this weekend was to make sure his ducks were all in a row to be able to reclass. Fact that Matt Freeman put a prediction in tells it is a done deal.

You should only be concerned if you are among the fans that think ND should be able to spend $9-10 million (for year 1) at that one position group and land 6 top 100 talents. If you're someone that thinks something like the following is quite possible, then you shouldn't be too concerned...
