Wow, so according to the player comps we added Dez Bryant and Devonta Smith, for multiple seasons???!!!???

Feel like we dodged a bullet with Marsh.
Lol, I greatly appreciate the sarcasm!

That said, when people give those comps they're trying to use a player that people are extremely familiar with, rather than somebody obscure. Also, when referencing comps, people are trying to indicate the highest level upside of what they feel that player could be if they max out their potential... When you're talking about 5 star talents, they do have nearly unlimited upside. The reality is, of course, that most players won't reach that upside.

As far as Mylan Graham is concerned, I'd actually look no further than a recent OSU WR as an upside comp. He has a lot of Garrett Wilson in him. Very similar size and movement skills. Obviously, Graham has a long way to go before we could even talk about him in that light.

Wilson was my comp as well, but that was obviously optimistic.

Hope these boys are ready, willing and able to block downfield when asked. It's been a staple for ND WR going back to Weis, and it's really a major component of the Freeman Era.

Damn, they really going for the Natty next year. This is fun.

I really liked him as a prospect. Seemed like he could develop into an elite route runner

Right and too many outlets are misstating his comments as "oh, now he has to actually go to class" as in period vs. OSU, either ignoring or not understanding that he means now he has to be in class vs. online participation.

That depends on your perspective. I’d argue that, to the average college student who doesn’t get preferential treatment and has to go to class in person, it’s a pretty big deal.
We had a player recently not come to ND for this very reason, I’d agree that it’s a pretty big deal.

I knew someone would cry. Ohio St grads really think that they are on par with Harvard

The media is making this out as, "OSU players don't participate in academics period, all they do is football." It's a gross misrepresentation. The media is not making this into an argument to compare the differences between online and in person classes.
