I don't really see any difference between him and Ian Book as a passer. Medonza is obviously a lot taller and a little less athletic, but they are basically the same... ordinary arm, accurate, good release. That gets the job done in CFB, I don't really see how Mendoza is going to make it in the NFL unless he goes full Tom Brady winning the mental game and QBs don't really do that anymore.Is Mendoza really that good? I did not watch much, if any, of IU games or highlights. But, is he actually an exceptional QB prospect?
Watching the NCG alone, the only game I watched of his, he seemed like a smart, calculated game manager.
How does he stack up against previous prospects to come out in the last three or five years?
