Yup, the subtext on all of this is that Ohio State is broke. When you read a lot of rumors from their end it's that Day went to the powers at be and was like "we need $40M to keep the roster intact" or something like that. And there just isn't the money for it. But now that they have lost a lot of key guys to the portal, it changes the equation, so it's possible that they can pay Graham's market rate when before they told him they couldn't.

This also isn't dissimilar to us and Mukam, so I'm not passing judgment.

I'm personally a doubter in him signing today. I was told over the weekend that we're the best offer for him, but reading the tea leaves I think his agent is dragging it out hoping to consider ever angle and see if something better comes available. If we didn't desperately need DTs, I'd also be questioning the long term fit here. But we do desperately need DTs so I pray to god we can close here.

Exactly how I felt but someone made the very good point, if he has minor injury and is out 4 weeks, we need someone who can with those 4 games.

Brewu seems a little light in the seat. I've seen some listings for Keeley that have him at a similar weight to Brewu.

Especially with a group of young studs competing behind him,… spend no extra dollars and let them battle it out for that role or spend on a two to three star option for one year,…. 🤷‍♂️

The radio silence on kicker is really odd imo. I really expected a kicker to drop today and have us all go ‘oh, ok.’

Yeah, they are the same weight. Different body types, different play strengths.

Brewu has unbelievable strength and power numbers for a 20 year old. We all want more mass and length inside, but Brewu has shown the ability to be capable at the P4 level.

I am paraphrasing bc I am on my work computer and I am a teacher. But the old colts oc was asked why Manning's backup gets no reps. His response, "If Peyton goes down, we are screwed. We don't practice screwed"
