I'll just be surprised at the end of the day if the academics don't sway him back to OSU. I think his playing time would be similar at both schools, OSU is just a much easier path academically for him.
If I'm wrong, good for him in deciding to challenge himself!
Being close with Tae has to help a little there. Tae was a guy who "needed help" early in his recruitment, did the work and now is doing just fine. Have to think that he's a good example of how it can work out for anyone who makes an effort.
Also, doesnt ND graduate basically every football player that stays the requisite amount of time? I don't remember who it was, but I was listening to some all-time Irish great talk about why he picked ND and he said "well they graduated 99% of their players, and I knew I wasn't in the bottom 1%." I always thought that was a funny point considering that everyone acts like ND is an academic minefield. The numbers show that if you can get into ND as a player, you're probably going to be well taken care of.
