Sounds like this guy wants to embarrass ND. Whatever. Btw, if you think IU's run is bad for ND (it isn't, really) it's worse for Purdue.

Great post, 100% agree with you. Freeman needs to shut the door on the NFL opportunities if he wants to be at ND.

Correct. I’ll share what I can. I have a family member that works in the local Department of Public. The “coach” was consistently harassing the Freeman’s. Many pointed out appeared the individual was fishing for interaction or an altercation. This individual had been previously trespassed for other schools in the area.

I'm sure it teaches you good lessons about discipline and self accountability, but wrestling is the only sport I would actively dissuade a kid from pursuing.

Between the weight cutting, the hardo personalities, and the physical deformities it produces, it doesn't seem like a ton of fun.

I just flat out do not get how he has a job. At the HS where I coach if I did 10% of what I've heard this guy has done I would be fired. A coach "trash talking" opposing players / parents is fireable on its own.

Prosecutorial discretion, this is not something anyone anywhere would file charges about unless you were trying to specifically target someone.

See above response from 2013Irish. A lot of good stuff about hs wrestling, and a LOT of accepted, default, baseline crazy.

Weight cutting has never been easier, safer, and more regulated, and the only "physical deformities" im aware of is some guys *choosing* to get cauliflower ear.

Wrestling itself is very fun.
