Does. Buchner have another year? Could be the backup and inside the 10 yard line QB. I prefer Buchner running over Minchey. Minchey was clearly looking for an escape route to the sideline on the long run he was just above jogging on. Buchner is a mix of Minchey and Leonard. Willing to run hard and thru and into people. Minchey does not look like he wants to make contact. Inside the red zone you have to expect to get hit so I don’t see him working as opposed to using Buchner.
Could Minchey stay two more years? If Carr continues to progress we have him one more year which could leave a year for Minchey. A year here as the starter for ND is better than two for some other ACC team.
For the love of God......I hope NOT

Bringing him in on third and short probably doesn't fool a blind defensive coordinator simultaneously having a stroke as Minchey comes onto the field.

But at this point, I'm just going to give up and say fuck it. This is a thing for a few people and it isn't going away for at least two more games.

And last year everyone knew what we were gonna do on fourth and short, and we did it anyway, over and over again.

I'm kind of hoping whatever short yardage stuff they've been planning for the rest of THIS year 1) Does not involve Kenny Minchey; 2) is not revealed until it is against a playoff opponent and 3) actually works so we can finally shut the fuck up about it.

Bringing in Minchey on short yardage isn’t bad idea because teams have to account for him to run. We really haven’t ran Carr much

Good luck to him. I think he'd have done really well here, but it's hard to argue with the call to go with CJ.

one day after the season seems like he made this decision prior.
I would be shocked if his decision since August was anything other than to stay with the team until they’re done playing.

Of course he made his decision prior, he wants to be a starting QB and Carr isn't going anywhere. I give him credit for sticking with his current team. Seemed like he carried himself well after the tough decision went agasint him. He was always smiling, played hard when he got his opportunities in garbage time. Class act from where I'm sitting.

Just like Angeli, wishing him the best as he figures out his next stop. I wouldn't mind if it isn't a future opponent.

It seems to me this is another very good reason to not play a bowl game... What if CJ and Buchner are only QBs left to play in it?

We don't want Carr hurt for a meaningless bowl game and what kind of game would be if Buchner was the QB? I guess he did win a post-season bowl game before...
