Would love to have a discussion with the intelligent IE community in regards to JFK/RFK.
you unknowingly struck something of a passion of mine....JFK/RFK and all those assasinations of the 60's
(crazy how all those super famous ppl were killed in a 6 year period, hmmmm. unprecidented)
3 bullets in 7 seconds. Had to be a second shooter. #tinfoilhat
it was more like 8.3 seconds...it doesnt sound like a huge difference, but forensically it is. especially for someone with Oswalds proven, documented accuracy with a rifle
(in the army, scored 95's at 200 yard targets). Oswald could have
very easily got off 3 rounds, accurately in that time. dont watch Oliver Stone's movie if you want facts, the movie famously skews the time of the shot intervals, and other half/partial truths. I like the movie, its interesting, but not factual, its hollywood's interpretation of the facts
I personally believe that if someone can explain Ruby the case is entirely closed. Everything else has been debunked or discredited.
I am very much a 'history nerd' especially the WWII/Marilyn Monroe/JFK/MalcomX/RFK/MLK, jr era. (1939-1968)
I agree most of the JFK assassination has been debunked in my head; for me, the one thing that is not fully debunked for me is how
JFK's head jerks in a backward motion when being shot from behind.
Jack Ruby was a 'never-was', small-town hoodrat, small time wannabe pimp/hustler; not to be confused with a mafia gangster. He was never part of the mafia, but always wanted to be. The mafia wouldnt have him, he was basically a bumbling baffon-type who would have never kept his mouth shut to begin with. not good character traits if you want to be associated with the mob. Ruby wanted to be a local town hero, and took the law into his owns hands, as simple and cliche as that sounds, I really believe thats what it was with regards to Ruby. As he famously said as he shot Oswald, "You killed
my president, you rat!"
(or "that rat killed my president!" something along those lines, it is debated what he said)
My bombshell in all this: J. Edgar Hoover
I believe Hoover was a guy who had a 1930's mindset towards the world, towards minorities, and over anyone the FBI surveyed. he started the FBI in 30's and held that position of power till 1972. In my view, the world had change so much during those years and it was a systemic failure to have someone with 1930's thoughts and Ideas
and Ideals into the late 50's, 60's, and 70's. Look at the attitudes towards Black people in the 30's versus the 60's. It was bad to be Black in the 60's, but it was far worse in the 30's. imagine now, those ppl in the 30's still in power in 1972??!?!?!?! FAIL
he stayed in power so long because of the dirt he had on everyone, and bascially black-mailed anyone that challenged him. Mix in his unlimited access/power to the then ultra-secretive FBI
(and as a natural extension, the criminal underworld) and you can start to the endless possibilites for J Edgar Hoover to put a hit, and have it completely untracable back anyone. if anyone had the power and means to accomplish assassinations, it was J Edgar Hoover.
Most Everyone has read/heard about all the FBI files becoming unclassified after being sealed for 50 years; the FBI had records on EVERYONE. Those documents tell us that Hoover was 'following' senators, congressman, judges, rock stars, actors, athletes, etc, etc....Hoover had the power, means, motivation and the information to place a hit on anyone.
Marilyn Monroe - a classic case of knowing too much. she was hooked up with JFK, RFK, actors, athletes, and other politicans
(sound familiar?). eventually she was going to spill the beans. she had to go.
JFK - him and his pitbull brother were out to take down the mafia. I believe Hoover was connceted to mafia dealings because Hoover had the dirt over mafiaoso's and instead of sending them to prison, Hoover had them do 'work' or 'jobs'. Hoover would lose too much if the mafia was hunted down as the Kennedy's wanted to do. In the middle the Kennedy's taking down the mafia, maybe they would have implicated Hoover
(thats pure speculation on my part) In Hoover's eyes, JFK had to go.
Malcolm X - I believe Hoover, with a 1930's mentality, thinking and ideals, was somewhat prejudical towards blacks, and I believe Hoover couldnt have this guy 'rousing up black folks' and ultimately had a hand in the MalcomX killing. I dont know what level Hoover was invloved, but he knew.
(this explaination is simplified, but MalcolmX was seen as threat to the white establishement. Imagine what a 40 year-old in 1935 would have thought of a MalcolmX-type doing and saying the things he did and said. well its 1965 and those 1930 ppl are still in power)
RFK - he had the democractic nomination sown up with no incumbant president, RFK was going to be president (he just won california, "and lets go to chicago and win this thing"), and RFK was still a pitbull against the mafia. plus he had unfinished business as far as finding the facts about his brothers assasination. Hoover couldnt let RFK be president. RFK had to go.
MLK, Jr - Obvioulsy very similar to MalcolmX in that he was seen as a threat to the white establishment. 1930 J Edgar Hoover couldnt have 'blacks' empowered and feeling good about themselves.
(again a simplified answer, but I am open to debate farther if anyone would like)
That J. Edgar Hoover, IMO, was a bad dude...and I dont mean that in any flattering way whatsoever.
