Well as Aaron is still a member of the school nothing wrong with that.
Not gonna get excited for it though. The kid is gone. His girl is claiming she was gonna move to South Bend. Sounds like she's just blowing smoke.
Kinda like Gretzky really wanted to go to Hollywood it had nothing to do with his wife.

Not to over analyze twitter, but this proves the sitation is still fluid. Why would she send Tuck in if she didn't think there was a chance that Aaron would stay at ND?

I feel the same way..If Aaron doesn't listen to all the positive ppl in his life then it's all on him...His mom seems to have the right idea and we all need to support her...You can't always get your kids to listen, but to throw away your whole life at 18/19 seems crazy... Most kids his age would love to be at ND for all the right reasons...Hell he can be the best DE ever and mishaps happen then what are you going to do?

I will take Aaron back any day and would LOVE to see him back on the team after apologize to the entire team for his actions...Don't see it coming but still drinking th green koolaid.

I have a really strong feeling that Lynch stays Irish.
I have nothing to back this up, I just don't think Alice is going to let him leave, she realizes how valuable a college degree, let alone from ND, is worth.

Aaron, best of luck. Will always wonder what might have been. On a positive note, I think you transferring helps the graduation rate stay high as it would have been affected by you leaving early for the NFL.

Question: When a player leaves early (EG: Jimmy C), the grad rate drops a few %, does it rise again after the come back and get their degree?

Players that leave early for the NFL are not counted in schools graduation rates. Not sure about transfers but I'd assume that's not counted.

We'll see. At some point this has to be up to the kid. Shouldn't be a matter of "let him."
But - and maybe this is my bias showing - I've got to think after a year-plus at Notre Dame, South Florida's going to look pretty bush league, like the Thursday-night-playing, middle-of-the-pack Big East commuter school that it is. That might help him come to his senses.

He is seeing all around him the excitement of the Blue and Gold game...all the alums....etc. That has to have him thinking, especially as the emotions of his decision has worn off some.

I am pretty sure he is suppose to leave for USF tomorrow so he won't experience much of it.

This is just me guessing, Aaron might not have the option to stay. If I were BK, I wouldn't want to keep going through this cr@p. I believe he has burned some bridges with the coaches and the team. Like I said...just me guessing?

Understand what you are saying, but USF 23 ND 20 seven short months ago doesn't validate that comparison.

Let's hope you are right and he has seen what ND truly is. Do it for you Aaron, but do it with a selfless heart.

Call me crazy, but despite my age or my football ability, my mom calling me out on social media ain't cool. My mom may feel the same way as his does if I were contemplating leaving ND, but no way in hell she'd send a tweet to Justin Tuck for whomever to see criticizing my actions.

Thanks, momma Irishog, for always loving me unconditionally and keeping any problems I ever had to you, dad, and our family. The world didn't need to get involved in our affairs.
