I was just messing with you, being a smart @ss, dude! :alcohol:

Ultimately, I think most of us on here are pretty confident Mike will choose between OSU, ND, and Miami.

NEVER IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD!

One has to give the IE recruiting detectives credit for guessing this last night. That's impressive stuff.

I concur. I was a bit skeptical, especially regarding the "reading of the tea leaves" (twitter emoticons).

Jake Brown is reporting that Miami may have a slight lead now. At least it appears we're still in the running and getting one final crack at it.

My Observations

His top 3 is ND, Miami, OSU and he likes them all hasn't decided yet

ND and Miami have worked much harder on him than OSU, he hasn't even met Meyer which leads me to believe Meyer thinks OSU is #1 or #3 and he really wants McNeil more than Heuerman

I believe Miami leads right now and before his visit ND led, now he's going back one more time to check out ND, I honestly dont see OSU as the threat

Christian has talked to Mike and some other people close to him and got the feeling he was leaning toward ND and wanted to see it one more time so he could be "100". Taking the trip by himself so he can get the feel of returning to ND after a break. Last minute decision to visit, booked ticket Sunday night.

The plan is to fly home Wednesday after ND visit, talk to his parents, then fly up to osu for their spring game.

Plan is still to announce 27th but Christian got the feeling he wasn't set on that date and a commitment could happen before then. Only thing he said was he's pretty sure Mike doesn't want to visit osu as a commit to any school.

I don't know if it's been discussed but TE-Y are those that line up like WRs and in the slot where as TE-H are the ones with their hand on the ground.

After what has been said this morning, I'm still only cautiously optimistic. I have, however, been thinking he might be leaning ND but not want to commit just so he can get the red carpet rolled out at OSU when he goes this weekend. Plus, couldn't it be that he is going to OSU primarily to see his bro play in their spring game?

Is this not the perfect year roster wise for a TE to commit to ND, everybody will be at least a junior next year, correct?????

Per the insiders on Buckeyeplanet, this one's all but over.

Him hanging around with Tyler Eifert an extra day to play golf means a lot.

He doesn't want to compete with his brother at the same position. I'm not saying that's the reason he's going to choose ND, it just made his decision much easier. Good get for you guys, if it comes to fruition. I really wanted Mike in Scarlet & Gray.

I hope we can get back in on Josh McNeil.
