My view is he is a ND lean currently but when he visits O$U, UM will spin his web a BS and unfortunatley Mike will fall into the pressure to committ...."I want to u to be my next Aaron Hernandez"
STAY STRONG MIKE DON'T LOOK DIRECTLY INTO HIS EYES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Im sure we used the "Next Kyle Rudolph" trick. We obviously have had better tight ends at Notre Dame than OSU. Mike needs to realize that

Notre Dame
Fasano, Anthony Miami Dolphins Notre Dame
Carlson, John Minnesota Vikings Notre Dame
Rudolph, Kyle Minnesota Vikings Notre Dame
Ohio State (Tressel)
Hartsock, Ben Carolina Panthers Ohio State (8 years in NFL. No other OSU TE in the league currently)
Florida (Meyer)
Hernandez, Aaron New England Patriots Florida
Ingram, Cornelius Denver Broncos Florida (3 years in the league- Multiple Teams already)
I went to see how OSU and FLorida has done putting TEs in the NFL. It confirmed my suspicion that OSU does not regularly churn out TEs. Meyer has had some recent success, but ND has had consistent success, which will include Eifert at the end of this year.
Mike, are you reading?....
Better tight ends than OSU for sure but none of them played for UM. As of today, Aaron Hernandez is a bigger selling point than Kyle.
Jack Ballard plays for the New York Giants, he went to Ohio State.
Jake Stoneburner, a current player, will definitely be in the NFL after this season.
I hope you're not using ESPN as a source. They are the worst.
Hernandez second best tight end on team GRONK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Urbon Meyer recruited 7 tight ends when he was at Florida. One of them was Aaron Hernandez, he was rated a 5* and the #1 TE by scout. Im pretty sure only 1 of them is in the NFL. So if you are a tight end and you play for Meyer, you have a pretty slim chance of getting into the league.
While at Notre Dame, the last 3 starting tight ends made it into the NFL, and Eifert is going to be the 4th tight end in a row to make it. If you are the starting tight end at Notre Dame, you have a pretty good chance to get into the NFL
Notre Dame>Ohio State
I don't think we want to get into an NFL production comparison with Urban Meyer. It won't be very pretty. Someone could point out that none of Kelly's recruited TE's are in the NFL.
I also don't think our discussion will sway Heuerman one way or the other. Kelly and Meyer have both talked his ear off on the issue. He knows the facts.
And what about Miami, they are the real TE U: Jeremy Shockey, Kellen Winslow, Greg Olsen, Jimmy Graham, Dedrick Epps, Richard Gordon. Then guys like Kevin Everett and Bubba Franks. Damnnnn.
I just don't think it'll come down to the perception of which school produces more NFL TE's. Each player is different. Heuerman is smarter than this.
Ones gotta remember too that, the NCAA is still going to be coming down on Miami for the Shapiro deal....
I don't consider Miami a threat.
This is ND vs OSU, clearly.
In this case, why doesn't anyone talk about family dynamics: the father has a very healthy influence on the selection process; does this kid want to play on the same team with his older brother, (at the same position?)
Yeah, I knew about Miami's TEs, I just slip into a cognitive dissonance whenever I think of them.
None of those TEs were Kelly's recruits just like none of Ohio State's TEs were UM's recruits. Aaron Hernandez, like it or not, is easier to sell right now.

WTF Mark Bavaro 1985 4th Giants! How could you leave him off the list?I looked up cognitive dissonance and it said, "See Chicago Cub's Fans".
Heuerman has a listed time of 4.68 which is Gronk's NFL Combine Time. Rudy was clocked at 4.82 at ND.
