Had a long talk with multiple friends from Immaculata. Sounds like Tashawn doesn't like ND's scheme, isn't really up for a big academic challenge and was pressured to commit or lose a spot at Auburn. Definitely not solid on Auburn, committed more to save a spot at a program he really likes but could be wooed away. Though odds at ND do not look great. Impressionable guy though

I'm sorry that's just not true. We went hard after the top recruits in Jersey (that could get into ND) the past 3 years, especially this year. Huggins, Shuler, Shumate, Fuller, Wright, Kinlaw, Woodard, Sickels, Muhammed, Barnwell, Bower, Drennon, Clement, Bell. We may have had pretty poor success with the state recently in terms of pulling in these kids we go after, but it has certainly not been for lack of effort.

This is the part i was referring to. No success = no pipeline

Of that list, we have Shumate (big fan btw), probably would have had Wright if not for the issues and good shot at Fuller if we hadn't picked up Kiel, but Weis was a Jersey guy and went after Jersey guys a hell of a lot harder than BK thus-far. Shumate is the only Jersey guy BK has picked up in 3 seasons.

Besides Rashad, there are a number of NJ guys on the radar for this go-round, so here's to hoping we can get the pipeline flowing again...
