I had an alumni tell me that he seen the jersey and that it is the most non-traditional jersey he has ever seen. If I or anyone gets a photo, lets post it in this thread. I'm anxious to see them. I really liked the "under the lights" collection last year.
I'm on my phone so I can't upload the pic but here's a link to the basketball teams black jersey (yes i understand the tradition in fball is 10 billion times more than in bball) so it can defiantly happen
adidas Notre Dame Fighting Irish #44 Black Replica Basketball Jersey
I think gold helmets, black lined with green like bball jerseys and black pants would be sick
Pants would be horrible as gold or green though
Lies. Personally, I think it would be sick!
Green, Gold and Black could definitly work, they were my High School colors....heres an example. Don't mind the green stripe on the pants...we got the jersey's 10 mins before we ran out to the field! lol
Please don't take any offense, but that uni is really, really awful. You just turned me OFF the idea of black jerseys.
Quick mock up I did with Cierre Wood. Not fancy but looks decent, I guess.

That's the sh!t i'm talking about!
Throw the blacked out visor on it, and that is muy perfecto!
There are rules against black visors I believe.
NCAA FOOTBALL RULE 1-4-5 (SEE 1-4-5-s)
Illegal Equipment
ARTICLE 5. No player wearing illegal equipment shall be permitted to play. Any question as to the legality of a player’s equipment shall be decided by the umpire. Illegal equipment includes the following:
...
s. Eye shields that are not clear or made from molded or rigid material. Note: No player wearing illegal equipment shall be permitted to play. If illegal equipment is discovered by an official, the team shall be charged a team timeout.

Under National Federation Rule 1-5-3-n the rule is the same as the NCAA's. The eyeshield must be a molded rigid material that is 100% translucent without any color or tinting.
