Manning to Denver. I got a buddy in the sports media there and it's happening.

I'll be spending those vbucks on some vhookers.

Wonder where Tebow ends up? Or do they just keep him?

This is one guy that Denver fans won't complain about playing in front of Tebow (if he stays)

I think Elway is thinking getting Payton Manning is his only opportunity to get a "Get out of Tebow Free" card. Tebow started in front of Quinn last year with the full expectation that he would fail and Elway could say that he gave the kid a chance. It backfired when Tebow had some success.

The only question is if any team will want Tebow bad enough to put up with circus that will surround him.

Speculation here in Denver is that they try to move him to Jacksonville or Miami. Hoping that they both have interest, driving his value up. Either of their first rounders would give the Broncos a shot at Michael Floyd.

THeyre trading him to the colts for Colts 1st overall pick. Luck will be backing up Peyton anyway. Sorry bro.

Sadly, that is what some of the Denver fans feel he is really worth. The other half would be willing to cut him and get nothing in return.

I wouldn't get my hopes too high for a 1st round pick in exchange for Tebow.

If Miami and Jacksonville both want him, that will be the price they have to pay to get him. Mark it.

This guy just won't quit! He's hilarious!

I'll be a monkey's uncle if ANY team gives up a first round pick. Might as well draft Ryan Tannehill instead.

I'll bet you a million vbucks Tebow will NOT be dealt for either the 7th or 8th pick in the draft. Hell, if I had a million real bucks handy, I'd bet you that as well. Josh McDaniels was essentially the only dude in the world who thought he was worthy of 1st round pick (20-something). And McDaniels has been let go at 2 jobs since then. If any GM or coach thinks that Tebow is worth a 1st round pick (let alone the 7th or 8th-- where the Dolphins and Jags are drafting), then he needs to go ahead and resign his post today.

I agree with you that they are not going to get the 7 or 8 pick for him, but you are not seeing the big picture if you think his talent is what will decide his worth in a trade. How much revenue and excitement do you think he will bring in to two Florida franchises in dire need of such a thing? Would be such a boost to that teams bottomline that his talent is really only a piece of the overall value puzzle.

Sure-- he no doubt would bring an added bonus to those two franchises. Two is the operative word though. It'd be clear the Broncos don't want him if they are trying to trade him, and realistically, at least 29 other teams don't want him either. Well, plenty of teams would offer something like a 6th rounder for him...but nowhere near a 1st. If the Jags and Dolphins, then, are the only 2 teams competing for him, it drives his value down, not up.

Jacksonville, with the new owner, wanting to put butts in the seats, might entertain that.

But then, what do you do with Gabbert?

I'm not saying that I think he is worth it as a player, but both of these teams are in the bottom ten of attendance. Miami's best attendance last season is when Tebow was honored. Denver is going to shop him to both teams.

So I will bet you this: If both Jacksonville and Miami are vying for his service, the cost will be their first round pick. $1MM vbucks. If he goes to somewhere other than Jacksonville/Miami, isn't traded, or both aren't involved then the bet is a push. Deal?

I'm not pulling this from my arse, btw. This is common speculation in Denver sports media. So you guys can act like I am crazy, but people that speculate this for a living see this as a scenario.

Tebow is terrible and is worth a 3rd rounder at most. No team in their right mind would give up a 1st for him.

So if Jacksonville or Miami get him, $1M it'll be for a 1st rounder? If another team gets him, then essentially no bet?

Why not keep Tebow? You're not getting more than a second round pick at best for him... and even that is a stretch. You're only going to get 2-3 out of manning to begin with or less if he gets hurt. In the meantime he can tutor Timmy and Timmy can work on his mechanics with no pressure... while serving as a great back up and/or red zone package guy.

What has Jeff Ireland ever done to make anyone think that he is in his right mind?

Manning isn't going to tutor anybody. He is going to worry about being the best he can be, not trying to teach Tebow throwing mechanics. Furthermore, Tebow will never be able to do what Manning does. Finally, name me one situation where a starting QB tutored a younger one and was successful? I'm sure that someone will say Farve/Rogers? Nope. Rogers has said openly said that Favre never had much interest in working with him. In my opinion, QB mentoring only works when you have a young starting QB being mentored by a veteran backup.

Ireland will trade for Tebow which is a terrible move, but he'll pay market value. Market value on Tebow is not a 1st.
