Melo is a cancer, no doubt about it. I dont blame him for resigning, the only player that seems to fit into his system is jermey lin

Ya Iman Shumpert doesn't fit into his system, that's why he drafted him. Amari doesn't fit into his system, just like he didn't when they were balin with the suns.

The difference then though was he had eyes, knees, Steve Nash, shooters surrounding them, a non-albatross of a contract, and insurable knees and contract.

I've had a few issues with D'antoni. Mostly that he doesn't coach playing defense, but I think most of the issues with this Knicks teams specifically revolve around Melo. Maybe in a few years the Knicks will grow up and learn how to build a TEAM like the Sixers are doing.

See ya! To be fair, MDT was never given a fair shake in NY. However, with the current roster assembled, it's not a match. He was hired with the hopes of luring LBJ to NY but rumors have been abound with some people that I trust that LBJ didn't want NY because of the media.

Regardless, two names to look out for Phil Jackson and John Calipari (God I hope not).

The bottom line is MDA didn't win with guys who fit his system (Gallo, Chandler, Al Harrington) and he didn't win with some serious talent that may not have been good for his system (Melo). Carmelo Anthony has been to the playoffs every season he has been in the NBA and won a NCAA championship. While he may have superstar complex he has the will to win and players like him. So screw MDA. He never won anything with the Suns either (one conference final only).

In case you haven't realized, I'm frustrated. Jerry Sloan supposedly wants to coach the Knicks. That would be an amazing hire.

Tell me about it. Please, oh please, oh please no. I wonder if Jeff Van Gundy or Tom Thibs would be considered as well. Thibs and I think Doc Rivers are free after the season.

What makes you think that ?

Scapegoat.

Yes, he has some blame in this. But Carmelo Anthony is a complete fraud of a "superstar."

His contract ends after the season. Not saying he would leave Chi-town but you never know. Was an assistant for the Knicks for a number of years. Spent more time in NY then any other stop.

I have a hard time believing he would leave Chicago for the Knicks. In no way would that be an upgrade for him.
