My girlfriend is facebook friends with Stephon. He has some hilarious posts, he refers to himself as Dr. Nation.

Great article. Especially loved this:

"Lynch said earlier in the spring that he and Tuitt play with the mindset that they want to kill once they get on the field together, and Tuitt acknowledged the silent competition between the two fuels them in everything they do."

Man, with these two guys, plus Nix and the rest of the studs on the D Line, and then Teo and the rest of the studs at LB, this defense is going to be ferocious. And you add to that the fact that this attitude carries throughout the defense. Maybe that's why Diaco loves the term "werewolf."

Then think of the guys coming in next year... wow. Can't wait.

What I found out in this article is that Tuitt is only going into his 6th year of football. He is going to be unreal by the time he leaves ND.

Agreed. He's going to be much easier to teach, given that he probably hasn't developed many bad habits that come with playing the game for so long. Regardless, the guy is a beast. I'm expecting big things from him and Lynch this year.

Agreed just hope some DBs who can cover people emerge from the bunch.

I don't think he would have even considered ND if it wasn't for his mother. She's definitely in our corner and I'm sure will continue to be a fan.

Also, I wonder what that press conference would have been like if Les Miles were coach. Kelly handled it well.

Hey, Mrs. Lynch has been preaching ND since his first commitment, through his defection to FSU, and back in and through this process. She realized the value of an ND education, but you can't expect her to sell out her son for the University. She's given him advice about what she thought was best, but she will stand behind her child no matter what happens. It's called being a parent, and if you don't understand it you're either not a parent, or a **** one.

I just want to leave all of you with the 18 year olds, first time away from home. I knew some, and maybe the reason they didn't b1tch and moan was because they were more concerned with staying alive.

The most important point in any of these posts is the comment someone made about quitting. Once you start . . .

Those that I saw quit in my earlier days, usually had given up on more than what was at hand, and they usually had unexpectedly had reached their peak. It is amazing how many times diminished ego gratification results in quitting behavior. Not exactly the kind of guy I want watching my back . . .

You don't need to put this in any more threads.

It was the cinnamon challenge that he did.

Although I wouldn't put it past Big Lou to have convinced him to do the salt challenge too. haha

Huh?

We're you reading the "how to seduce a frigid nun" volume in lieu of watching the video on Tuitt's thread?

The one posted on the previous page is salt, he even says something about raising his blood pressure. Cinnamon would be worse though. Sorry, now back to something important......
