Kid is a beast. I live a Kyle Brindza kickoff away from his high school so I've been watching him since he was a sophomore. Has a motor, hits hard, and never quits on a play.

This guy runs a 4.5? I can not see that kind of athleticism on the tape.

EDIT: Finally saw one of his speed rushes. Hmm. Maybe he can run.

Has ND even contacted the kid?

If not, first contact should be with his offer. Hails from same high school as Andrew Nuss. Honestly at this stage, he reminds me of a slightly more athletic Justin Tuck. Along with these stats, kid seems to block a punt or field goal every game. He's legit folks.

Probably not playing anything for us if we haven't offered or showed interest.

Well... that's a bit presumptuous considering there's a year to NSD. Look at guys like Marcus Rios that were nowhere on our radar until like... November?... and then we ended up pushing reallllly hard for.

That takes either balls or craziness to say. Tuck was and is a freak athlete.

Allen is also a forward on the BB team so I might stop by their game tonight to check it out.

Maybe the mutual interest isn't there between Allen and the staff. I remember Kelly talking about how the mutual interest is one of the key things the staff look into initially.

Probably not grades if Vandy and stanford have offered.

This^^. His HS (along with many others in Loudound County, VA) produces some good athletes that make the grade and I'm sure he is one of them. Several current ACC players are from this school (Wake, UVA, BC). The teams QB is a Stanford commit as well.

Might not have any interest in Notre Dame to begin with so the staff wont even bother. I am sure I hear GITF or GBdomer state that schools usually try to get a feel for how interested the recruit is toward the school early on in the process.

Kinda like if one of us were a stud high school recruit and people found out that we hated Michigan, I doubt Michigan would even bother offering us.

Pfft ... Michigan would be trying to make ground with me for USC! Only to be shunned after an 11th hour commitment to ND. Don't worry, I would be respectful enough to never commit before ND.
