Houston went 12-1 in the regular season and played in the ****ing Ticket City Bowl. That proves everything anyone needs to know about the status and relevancy of the program.

Well, Houston has a couple open spots, but I'm going to list the teams that are on your schedule: Texas State, Louisiana Tech, UCLA, Rice, SMU, UTEP, ECU, Tulsa, Marshall, and Tulane.

ND schedule: Navy, Purdue, MSU, UM, Miami(FL), Stanford, BYU, Oklahoma, Pitt, BC, Wake Forest, SC.

That's a hell of a guarantee. I'll wager $Texas that you're wrong.

Yes. I'm sure the coach of the University of South Florida Bulls is intensely focused on ND going 13-1.

And I don't know how long they "was" in Florida for the FAMU game. I don't understand what you're trying to say there.
And ND isn't in a conference, because unlike Houston, ND has a national fanbase. Is that really how you measure whether a team is good? Then again, you are a Houston fan, so... Also, the weakest teams ND faces in any given season are on the same level as the best teams Houston plays.

1) as I am sure you are aware ND is an independent (it was in all the papers)
2) perhaps you've heard how in all the conference realigning, so many conferences have made mention of potentially adding ND (big 10, big east, Acc, etc)
3) what does it matter if we are in a conference or not (fyi, we play a national schedule)
4) ESPN doesn't come here because they don't get to broadcast the game here...but the second we are the away team, the networks line up to broadcast poor little irelevant us
