Deciding on New Year's Day between Michigan, WVU, and Notre Dame.

Does not show either an ND or Michigan offer, but they must be showing interest if they have made his final three.

Chris Anderson of 247 believes ND and Michigan are waiting on transcripts.

hah no way. I almost went to Central Public.

Notre Dame missed out on Dane Sanzenbacher, but if this kid is good enough I would like to see a Toledo guy at Notre Dame.

This early in the game, he's basically announcing who is in the lead. I'd be happy if he 'committed' to ND, but it would be a very mild happiness. No way would I get worked up over a 2013 recruit at this stage. To be honest, he shouldn't commit to anyone yet, because it's not a real commitment at this point...

Toledo has a huge Catholic base and six Catholic high schools, there are a ton of Notre Dame fans in Toledo trust me.

Somewhat, but nearly as strongly. Elmer had an offer, visited and loved it, then visited Michigan and was pissed ND lost, then committed.

This kid doesn't even have an offer from 2 of his top 3 yet. No need for him to rush...

Elmer has concrete offers and had them for awhile while this guys does not have offers from most of his finalists and is trying to cram his decision in for some unknown reason. Also Elmer fell in love during his visit while this guy does not even have an ND offer.

Zach Hillesland :)

And there's a track sprinter I knew from Oregon Clay who ended up at Notre Dame. The name escapes me though. I went to school with three guys at St. Francis who went to Notre Dame.

Didn't Dan Amato of Central Catholic from ~2004 go to Notre Dame? He was a fine football player.

Can I count Brandon Walker from Findlay? haha

Will committ to West Virginia on Feb 2nd.

How do I know this you ask? Because he is still picking between UM, ND, and WVU and doesn't have offers from UM or ND.

Bizarre recruitment this one...

Did he say he would announce a year in advance of his NSD? Or is he actually a '12 grad?

He was supposed to have already announced...I don't get it. Is he threatening to commit to WVU if we don't offer? lol

very strange.

perhaps he's expecting offers on signing day that he knows are coming.

he must be planning on enrolling early since he's announcing a year early??
