Of course, it is supposed to RAIN all day tomorrow (yes, just barely warm enough for freezing rain from noon onward). Cannot catch a freaking break......

Could Armstead brothers play 2-gether (a dream)? Yes,at Notre Dame,Auburn & both could be in classes by next week;BUT is NOT deciding factor

I still don't understand how Armond could go to the SEC with the rule in place.. does the rule only apply when they want it to? lol

Probably, the only rule about rules in the SEC is that they are meant to be broken.

I guess.. I didn't understand the visit in the first place.. given the rule, couldn't Auburn be in violation of the rule if they host a recruit who only has one year of eligibility remaining? I don't understand why more people aren't talking about this..

I just think it's one of those things where no one is absolutely sure. I mean from what I understand and know I don't see how he could go to any SEC school without paying his own way. Maybe that is an option for his family. Or maybe he would be taking school loans (like the rest of us do) and just pay them back once he hits the league. A lot to consider here. Bottom line if he wants to go Auburn, I'm sure he can, in some way shape or form. I'm just hoping he loves his visit to ND and ends up Irish.

thanks for pointing that out lol (really, though).. I didn't even consider the idea he could join as a walk on.. thanks

No problem Shark.

sucks though lol, I was banking on the idea that I was 100% correct about him not being able to go there.. guess that obvious idea didn't hit me in the face like it should have..

anyway, does that same theory apply to PAC-12 schools? Couldn't he go to any school as a walk on?

FWIW I am optimistic that Arik & Armond will be at ND. I think Armond visiting us last says a lot. Arik flies out and meets up with his family in South Bend. Dad's already there, takes him to the local walmart and buys him some stuff for his dorm room. It's not out of the realm of possibility

I'm just a confused as you are. Arik was quoted today saying that Auburn is an option for Armond, but it just doesn't make any sense to me given the Masoli Rule. I thought we would have gotten clarification from some reliable reporter or entity by now.

Rumor has it that the Vatican is installing a tractor beam in South Bend and that they will not allow Armond to leave until the 2013 NFL Draft.

"Please let us get both of the Armsteads using your power. We really need him, and it would make my year. Thank you. Hail Satan."

Did I do it right?
