Devin Fuller (Think we did well with the family)
Davonte Neal (OSU/May take all of his visits - NSD Announcement probably)
Nelson Agholor (eh)
Josh Garnett (30%?)
Kent Taylor (Would be a miracle)
Arik Armstead (Pretty decent shot)
Schyler Miles (Doubt we'll offer)
Ken Ekanem (Plan B, ACL progress)
Yuri Wright (If Michigan fills up)
Ronald Darby (Do not think he comes back)
Brian Poole (Coin flip)
Anthony Standifer If offered
Demetrious Cox (Haven't heard anything on him)
Will Redmond (If he visits, could flip)
Daje Johnson (No interest)

I believe these are the names we have a chance at. I bolded the ones I think we have the best chance at. Of course, that can change in a minutes.

My perspective

TT, do you really think we have a coin flip shot at Poole? I mean, from all recent reports the dude loves the Gators.

Alford and Poole's family have a good relationship. Never know going into NSD with Alford. They're still "talking" so it's not like Poole told him to stop.

Does anyone else think that Carlisle's transfer is likely to see Russell come in as a Z WR?

RB depth is currently Wood, Roberson, GAIII, McDaniel, Carlisle, Mahone, and Russell. That's a lot of talent (7 guys where 6 is ideal) for a position that usually only puts one guy on the field.

Russell and McDaniel seem to be the to most likely swing guys, with Russell being the more talented of the two. In the interest of getting our most athletic guys on the field at once, Russell reps at the Z in August, no?

If that's the case, we'll be at 11/12 for WRs next season, which is great. Means we don't necessarily "need" another one this cycle, so we can use our remaining scholarships on the best players available.

Can someone give me a quick run down of the Fuller situation? Last I knew he was still deciding if he wanted to visit. Do we really have that good of a shot with him?

I think we finish with:

Wright
Fuller
Armstead
Armstead

Last spot possibilities:
Poole: If UF does indeed get Howard, our chances go up here
Redmond: 4.3 speed and physical. If he does visit we have a good chance to flip him if there is room
Neal: ND still high on his list. OSU is the competition

The staff recently spoke with the Fullers and eased their concerns as to why he was suddenly being offered as a QB. Odds are very good that we get his last OV. If and when that happens, we'll be favored to gain his commitment.

Do you think this or are you hearing this?

I'm curious like a cat, that's why my friends call me "Whiskers".

Our major competition is Rutgers and Nebraska. There's been strong mutual interest ever since we started pursuing him as a QB. If we can get him on campus, I think he's ours.

Gotcha. Just seeing if you were reading the tea leaves differently.

ND doesn't HAVE to fill the spots, nothing wrong with keeping some 5th year guys and using the spots for next years class

As much as I love our players, I'd rather see us bring in new blood than bring back Goodman and Cwynar.

Sapp just tweeted ND will get an official visit from a defensive back still "on the market"

Who would that be?

Assuming "still on the market" means "not currently committed elsewhere", I'd have to guess Standifer.

I'd much rather have Redmond if we don't get Wright or Poole. I do like Standifer's length but he lacks speed.

Coach D just put up his final big board for the cycle on ISD. Can anyone possibly give us a rundown as to where some commits have been placed on the list? It's premium.

Yuri Wright is so low because he lacks speed to keep up with WRs with Elite speed. Said that he is very good in run support. I'd compare him to a bigger more athletic Rob Blanton

Sounds like he would be a better fit at FS.
