Sampson just posted an update that he's probably gonna take a visit to Clemson and FSU. Also said that LSU may get back into it. Lastly said that Darby may reopen his recruitment on Tuesday with ND out of the mix.

Honestly, if he wants to cut ND out of the mix and go to Clemson (1 more win then us this year against an easier schedule who just gave up 70 freaking points to a middling Big East team) or FSU (horrible education, 1 more win than us against an easier schedule and a team we played very even) then more power to him. If that happens, it's not like we got "out recruited"... it means he doesn't get it and is looking for something else. I'm OK with that and bring on Yuri Wright.

I want kids that want to be at Notre Dame too, but don't front... losing Darby would be devastating. I would wish him well, but it would be a crushing blow to lose him.

There has been a ton of rumors on him over the span of his recruitment, and none of them have came to fruition. So I will sit back and stay calm. He has been committed to Notre Dame for a long time.

Darby did leave the Bang Bang group.... he got pissed weeks ago at some idiots posting stupid stuff about Tee. When will people learn if you don't have something positive to say then don't say anything at all? Have a hard time imagining he we completely eliminate ND from the mix... and that's why I don't really buy this rumor.

Oh well, no doubt it's a HUGE loss if he goes but luckily we have guys like Davonte Neal and Yuri Wright still on the board. We can absorb this one. We CANNOT absorb losing either Tee Shephard or Deontay Greenberry.

I'm not saying Darby is or isn't decommiting, but let's not act like Wright or especially Poole are shoe-ins. Losing Darby would be a terrible, terrible thing. Let's not pull the wool over our eyes on this one. There is no "bright side" here is he's gone. Let's just hope he's not gone.
