I've heard/seen them both. Plus, I had to look it up.

Chicks announcing football games is just not right. It's Un-American, for God's sake!

Well. I guess that makes it alright. I guess.

I'm just giving you a hard time, man! Haha!

I know.

I watch a lot of football. From Div. III to the NFL, I try to watch as much as I can. Those 2 usually announce at the lower division games.

Wasn't she married to that guy who played in "Major Dad" a long time ago?

Or is she the mother on "Everybody Loves Raymond"?

Gerald McRainey?

Doris Roberts was the old bag in Everybody Loves Raymond

Yeah, that's the guy. I also believe she was in that show "Designing Women".

If I remember correctly, she was kind of... big boned.

When Everett becomes QB, I think we should get Andres Cantor to do our games. Imagine hearing this - followed by ". . .son" after he scampers into the endzone.

Plus the dude can make even the most boring game sound exciting :soccer:

Doubt this is the right place to put it, but I saw that Scott Van Pelt might be leaving ESPN in two weeks and has been pursued strongly by NBC for golf and ND coverage. I don't think he'd take Hammond's place obviously, but I do think I'd like to see him with NBC in some capacity. Should help grow NBC Sports channel.

Please get rid of ****ing Hammond. Mayock is awesome and Hammond's makeup makes him look like a tranny. No offense to any trannies.

SVP is ESPN's best personality IMO.. kind of have a little man crush on him to be honest haha.. I don't think I could be happier if he were to be the play by play for the Irish

looked into it a little bit.. the one factor that might persuade him to stay at ESPN is his radio show.. which, the article didn't really explain too well.. Jim Rome left ESPN for NBC Sports and he still does radio.. but, if SVP can keep his radio show, or be given another one, he might be inclined to leave.. rumor has it he loves doing radio as much, if not more, than ESPN.. he loves golf the most though obviously

I love Scott Van Pelt, so hopefully he leaves ESPN for NBC Sports.

But, I've never heard him do football and I'm not sure that he would be very good at it.

Jim Rome went to CBS. He isn't anything like what NBC wants their brand to be.

I think Van Pelt is better suited for Golf than Football though. I think his voice could be kinda boring.
