We're not going to get Ifeadi unless I've missed some game-changing update on my premium site/Twitter hiatus. NW has been on top for awhile now and I honestly don't know how hard ND has even been pushing for him these last couple weeks. I think Kelly still has a January in home visit on tap so that could change a lot... if he hasn't already decided.

Although, ND is at least 2 hours closer to home than NW, FWIW.

Regardless of where the kid decides to go, I respect him for truly prioritizing academics.

I am surprised that Urban Meyer is not all over Ifeadi. Would be a nice surprise if Kelly can pull off a nice in home visit into another ND recruit.

Good for the kid if he chooses Northwestern. It's a heck of a school and was one I wish I could have attended when I was deciding on a college.

I mean, he's going to win six games a year there, but I think it's pretty obvious at this point that he cares more about academics. Northwestern's definitely a great fit in that regard. I really liked the campus too.

I would think that smart families like the Odenigbo family do not decide colleges based on two hours of driving time haha

Odenigbo has said he will announce his decision Saturday. #NotreDame, #Northwestern, and #Stanford are the choices

He is looking like a complete beast at the UA game. From what I saw he had 2 sacks just rushing by the defender.

Just did a 3 minute pre-recorded on IO and his family. Pretty sweet.

If it hasn't already been mentioned he said he would love to work for Google or EA Sports.

I think NW. Distance will play a factor.

I should have said "I'm afraid if he ends up at Stanford..."

EDIT: You know what? I'll still stick with Stanford as where I think he goes too.

First college mentioned in that video and a pretty stellar computer department, I'm sure. And he already said he wants to work somewhere in Cali.

I really like IO but IMO he's not a good fit at all for ND's 3-4 defense.

The upside is there to be special but he's more athlete than football player at the moment and he's years away from helping but that said it would've been nice to get him and more or less build him from scratch but with limited scholarships available I'm not heartbroken on missing out on him.

Every year theres a crop of kids that are "tweeners" could play d-end in a 4-3 or Olb. in a 3-4 this years class had some good ones. It's good your not heartbroken cause look out in the 2013 class theres just some freakish athletes that would kill in our defense.

Ifeadi Odenigbo, a 4-star OLB recruit from Ohio, was denied admission to #Stanford according to a Stanford source."

If that's true, here's to hoping he wants revenge so he comes to ND to beat up on them for 3-4 years...

That is absolutely wack. I thought he had really good grades. Looks like NW for Ifeadi... do we play them while he'll be there?
