I'm sadly aware of this fact, but to reference that ESPN article posted earlier today, recruiting is a business decision nowadays.

Choosing a school based on weather or attractive coeds is akin to picking a job based on whether the office building is nice or the receptionist is hot. Sure, those are nice fringe benefits, but compensation is (and usually should be) the most important detail involved in where one chooses to work.

ND offers far better compensation than USC. Despite being a 17-year-old kid, Tee knows this. So how is his father not on board yet?

maybe they have better coaches that can help them for the next level? I use a question mark because I have no clue if it's true or not.. but a lot of dads want to see their sons live out their dreams.. I don't want to say that about Tee's dad because obviously I know nothing about the man, just throwing out a possible answer I guess

Know the feeling. This is the only recruit I'm emotionally invested in... probably because he was our first commit and seems like such an awesome person beyond being just a football player. That's why I took a break until this would wrap up on January 3rd... but apparently it's still dragging on a bit past that. Just want to see something in writing for him and I will rest easy with the remainder of the class.

Makes sense if the MOD was calling a guy with the wrong last name. I wouldn't expect an Southern Cal troll to know how to spell an ND recruit's name correctly. In a year or two, he will. They all will.

I imagine you won't be the only one. There are more than a few posters who are quick to run out on the ledge.

Just like with everyone else at this point, there's a chance Shepard goes elsewhere. From all indications, though, it's less likely with Shepard than just about anyone else(outside Sheldon Day and William Mahone).
