Sapp says all his sources point to staying Irish, and DGB said he would stay Irish no matter Tee's decision. This is sounding like an epic rick-roll cooked up by the duo.

Tee even said at the SF Bowl he was going to put two pieces of paper in a hat and go to whatever school comes out. This kid is hilarious.

I want them both here but if I had to pick one or the other, I'd pick Deontay. This is going to make me puke. I want to say I'm not going to follow this anymore, but I'd be lying.

For the record, the hearing program at USC is a graduate program. He would have to enroll in the USC Keck School of Medicine and in order to do that, he would have had to submit paperwork "between June 1, 2011 and November 1, 2011. Official transcripts must be submitted within 14 calendar days of the November 1 primary application deadline for the applicant to be considered."

Also needed "To be considered for admission, applicants to the 2012 entering medical school class must have taken the MCAT no earlier than August 2009 and no later than August 2011."

On top of that: "The supplemental application, application fee and letters of recommendation must be received by December 1, 2011."

There are two other ways for him to get into it but it all starts with the above mentioned.

I could be wrong about it but that all came from the USC website.

Like I said, I could be wrong because I researched it for like 5 minutes. With Dee saying he is 100% and has no interest in USC, I just don't see Tee leaving Dee at the altar with ND. Tee gave up his entire senior year to go play with Dee only to be told he couldn't enroll.

Not saying the above isn't correct, but two things come to mind:

When it comes to football players, application deadlines don't mean anything. That goes for SC, ND, et al.

When I read I was thinking less about a hearing type of degree and more about hearing support, etc. I might be wrong though.

So Tee does the old Corso move where he goes to put on the USC hat and then says aw **** it! And puts on the ND hat. Anything can happen but I think he is just playing mind games with all of us due to people freaking out on his fb group.

Two things that might concern a young scholar:

1). the claim about USC being number 1 in something associated with hearing research: US NEWS ranked the 64 leading graduate audiology programs in the country --- USC was not among them.

2). what sort of general support could a person with some hearing loss be able to depend on at university? Notre Dame offers a full range of support services including interfacing with instructors, special testing rooms and time, note-takers, tutors, texts on CDs, and what they call "adaptive equipment". If that might mean a device which could give real time captioning in classroom lectures, then that would be state-of-the-art [Ask Coach if he can get you one, Tee].

Coincidentally, the award-winning senior thesis this year was by a student who got a Undergrad Research Opportunity Grant to study hearing impaired students at Gallaudet University [the flagship college for hearing impaired students]. Also, a recent [2011] Masters thesis [not from ND but not SC either] studied hearing impaired students as to the factors in their becoming successful. One of the questionnaire points was interesting.

The issue was whether it helped the students to have experienced a hearing impaired role model. Of all the responses, one caught my eye:
Question: "Do you feel that as a student in an oral school for the deaf, you would have liked to have met other deaf role models?"
Answer: " I met a deaf man who graduated from Notre Dame University and I was impressed with his successful background in work and civic leadership".

It was, with the sole exception of Gallaudet, the only mention of a college by name in all the responses.

I saw that Mike Farrel tweeted that Tee will pick a name out the hat at the Semper Fi game. Farrel said he thought it was not very classy. I will agree. Whether Tee picks ND or not, he has really not handled this last couple weeks very good.

Or he could be just messing with everyone because grown men arehiding behind their keyboards and taking shots at him and his cousin for being kids. Its embarrassing there are so many people talking **** and I couldn't imagine having to go through it when I was that age.
