The word is that the one CB USC thought they had locked up (Kevon Seymour) is now likely to pick UCLA or Cal so they are scrambling to find someone. Naturally they try to poach Tee and then Darby from us.
It will be very interesting to see if someone like Yuri commiting to ND before NSD has effect on Darby.
Seymour is throwing USC fans for a loop. He went to every home game and had USC as his #1 for a long time. UCLA tried to woo him by offering his brother a baseball scholarship, and they were on the radar, but then their season sucked and it looked like USC had him all wrapped up.
But then the new UCLA coaches (in particular a former UW coach who he really liked) came in and he started loving them again. And then recently he took a visit to Cal and he has them basically as his top school.
Some/many USC fans are pissed b/c they call him a prima donna - every visit he takes he loves the school and has them as his number one. They are so stuck up now that they had a great season that they hate any kid that doesn't fall in love with them. NOt all U$C fans mind you, but on their Rivals board there are many fans like that.
The USC coaches trying hard to get Darby to visit shows that they are not solid with Seymour. Plus, Darby is just better than him anyways...
