I don't think he realizes that it's not that much of a surprise with him picking Cal.

I don't think anyone even really cares at this point, either. He's the the #2 in either ND or Cal's class this year at WR.

As I expected all along (and wrote on here); I never thought he'd come to ND. That's two for two on CA kids (Adams as well). Also have doubted Armstead and Shaq ever coming to ND, unfortunately. You can tell from reading articles with quotes from these guys written by non-ND scribes when their interest isn't as strong as they publicly claim. Hopefully Armstead will prove me wrong. That would be epic...

I would take all three of ND's WR commits over Payton. USC wasn't that upset to lose him either, they've since gone after WR's who they felt were better.

Doubt we are in play. Seems like we are stalling Westerkamp while Neal and Agholar decide. IMO, take Westerkamp now. Seal the deal. I like this kid a lot. He can go over the middle and deep. Good hands, fast and good vertical. YouTube has a 10 minute interview of him a little over a month ago. Bright kid.
