I know this a thread to bash Carroll, but that he could win 7 or 8 games with no QB is pretty impressive in its own right. The 49ers had a buttload of talent but Singletary was so terrible that it isn't as surprising to me that they are 12-3 as it is that Seattle is 7-8. I'm not taking anything away from Harbaugh. He's obviously a hell of a coach.

Actually if the Saints lose on Monday night then the 9ers have the bye. If not, then 9ers have to win next week.

And Harbaugh has Alex Smith. Tavarus (spelling?) Jackson is playing a ton better than Alex Smith and the 9ers kick 8000 FG's a game. Alex Smith makes throws you see in high school while Tavarus Jackson is making NFL throws. Tavarus, although hard for me to believe, is playing much better at the QB position.

Dude. I love you and all that stuff, but the idea that Tarvaris Jackson is a better QB than Alex Smith is absurd. Alex suffered from horrible (HORRIBLE) coaching. He is a legit NFL QB. Tarvaris probably isn't a legit CFL or arena league QB.

I know it may sound strange but Tavaris Jackson is playing great football in the second half of the season. His passer rating in the past 4 games is 94.8 while Alex Smith's is 84.5. I would have said the same thing at the beginning of the year but dude is balling right now considering his past.

It will be interesting to see how the 49ers do in the playoffs. Their lack of playoff experience could hurt them. The playoffs are WAY more intense than the regular season

it was a sweet victory for the 9ers. The game showed how tough both teams are regardless of win total. I am very happy to see my 9ers back. As for lack of playoff experience, that may hurt, but with a defense as tough as we got I am not worried about an implosion game.
