I don't think we'd lose anyone... If anything I think we'd have an even better shot at Yuri

I haven't read anything that indicates Shumate and Wright are planning on attending the same school. They are certainly welcome to do so in SB however. I would be surprised if any current safety verbals jumped because of Elijah. Kid is a stud though. The Jersey 3 has a certain ring to it, no?

GB, I read the same thing by 46 on II. Definitely encouraging news.

Here's what I worry about though. If he was all South Carolina after that visit and he is all ND after this visit, who's next? Just trying to keep everyone from prematurely blowing their load.

I was just curious. Our secondary class would be the best we have had in a very long time if we grabbed these two. We do have Diaco on the prowl, so maybe he will be making some early morning visits.

True, what I meant was, if we land Shumate, him and Yuri are teammates and I'm sure they keep in touch constantly.

Yuri was with him during the visit last week. I believe he had a great visit as well. Or do you mean get him to commit when you say get him on campus? If so, pretend I didn't make this post.

Just that--as far as I know--nothing has been reported on Westerkamp. The only negative "news" was that an analyst thought that he could be leaning towards the Huskers. That is not a non-news to me. I am detoxing after the Kiel cluster.

I don't see us losing commits if we pick up another Safety, since there is such a big need at S, CB, WR. However, I would not be shocked if Baratti ended up playing the "Slaughter LB" position, and almost became a hybrid-DOG.
