The black eyed peas are a terrible example for you to use. If the black eyed peas were so proud of their song, then why did they record a 2nd version...the version that was actually released for radio and commercial play? Note-- I realize you're not the only poster on here who has used or uses that word, Mike. But you were the first one to use it in a post directed at me specifically. If you feel the need to discuss this further or have the concept explained further as to why a person may take offense to the word "retarded," then PM me (honestly though, I don't think it does). But I felt that this should also be out in "public," so to speak, for others to see as well. For you Mike, and everybody out there-- go on using the word, never use it again, curb your use of it, whatever...but at least you'll perhaps think about using it and be aware others find no humor in it and are actually quite offended by its use.

Sorry got caught up with work i pointed this out in the PM but i will also point it out on here for those that are entertained with this conversation. Fact being in todays society words have manifested into other meanings or slang.... Take for example the word i used "retarded" if you look up in the urban dictionary the definition is... Stupid or dumb or high depending on use or even looking good? Theres a million ways to use the word... I'm also glad you brought up the N word and like i said in the PM If you drop the "er" and add a "a" it is socially expected for people to call their friends that hell in the city i hear females call other females that. Also like i said I heard a young white boy call his friend that and it's all socially excepted.

And this is the serious Mike talking I also told Irishog77 that in real life my Uncle is mentally disabled so don't think i laugh it off when people make fun of disabled people but this has all been taken way out of context. Just remember fact is you only know what people want you to know about them on here not that you really know them. So if your going to police someone for saying something that isn't blatantly obvious that it's used in a derogatory manner why question or even comment? But i got it whats good one is good for all.

GUYS! I don't have a good, working computer for like 2 weeks, but seriously, being nominated for such things is like the greatest early Christmas present ever! I can't believe some of you guys hold me in such high regards. It really means a lot.

That being said, I may have to vote for Whiskey on this. lol It took some serious dedication to make those ROI charts. And he is even more "rookie" than myself! (I think.) haha

Dude, you are no longer a rookie (had to have joined this calendar year), otherwise, you'd be a shoo in. Gotta get Turning Point some love in this category. Get him on the ballot.

I went to the same high school as Bert Berry and played with David Givens.

I am one of the few IE members in Texas.

I Kick a$$.

I have two dogs, Montana and Holtz.

And Merry Christmas.
