Edit your post and see if a Delete box pops up anywhere.

Can you do it or do you have to be a mod?

LOL...I've had to delete a bunch of your posts that only have a period in them. I was wondering why you wouldn't just delete it yourself. Just edit your post, and then press delete.

I feel like simple jack right now. So I click 'edit', then 'delete' on the keyboard? If there's a 'delete' button/icon somewhere on the page once you hit edit, I don't see it. And hitting 'delete' on the keyboard doesn't do anything.

When I 'edit', then 'delete' and 'save', nothing happens either.

Hmmm, I don't know what to tell you then. When I do it, I press edit, then delete, and then a drop-down box appears and asks the reason for the deletion (you don't have to write anything) and gives you a choice whether you want to delete it or not. You click the 'delete' little circle, and then click the delete button, and you're done.

I know that members can do it because I've come across posts from members that have been deleted by members themselves, and I used to do it when I was a member. In fact, WildMan deleted a post of his this morning on the Deontay thread in which you guys were wondering how to delete posts. It's weird that it works for some and not for others. Wish I could be of more help...

You're high. There's no damn delete icon, lol.

You can't see it, but he deleted 2 posts on this very thread to check. It's crazy that it works for him and not for you...

EDIT: I just undeleted one of his posts to show that he can do it.

The word "icon" doesn't appear in WildMan's post.

Ok, but what other delete option is there? I can hit highlight the text and hit 'delete' on my keyboard, but still, nothing will happen because it won't allow me to save it without text and no drop box appears. I feel like an idiot, you can stop trying to help now, lol.

Click Edit, then click Delete it will be one of four buttons in the lower right (Save, Go Advanced, Delete, Cancel)

A window opens with the text below in quotes:

Reason for Editing:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To delete this message, check the appropriate option below and then click the 'Delete this Message' button.
Deletion Options
*Do Not Delete Message
*Delete Message

Reason for Deletion:

This is the text that appears in the delete window. The buttons to select "Do Not Delete Message" or "Delete Message" didn't copy with cut and paste. I added a asterisk in front of them here to designate their locations.

They have either puchased the delete posts option (if it is an option, I think it is) in the vPlaza or they have that ability because they are currently in Gold status--Varsity Club?

Nope. I don't see a thing to delete.

Is this like yesterday JPham suggested that I post the pictures for "The Gentleman's Club" in the picture gallery, but I was told I don't have access to that function?
