I really hope this starts a trend. Recruiting was so frustrating for so many months. Finally some good news.

I love that Kelly has done so well recruiting offensive and defensive linemen. The lines are the sinew of a football team, it's the one area to which Weis never paid enough attention. This is one of the big reasons that I think Kelly is on the right track at ND.

Simply not true. He pulled in a lot of highly rated o-line prospects. The development wasn't there, but to say he didn't recruit the o-line well or didn't pay attention to it is false.

Exactally. Weis brought in a ton of 4 start guys for the Oline. They just never panned out to full their initial ratings: Nuss, Dever, etc..

Not to get too far off but look further back then just Nuss and Dever.... Just look at the 06' class and it leaves you scratching you head. We should have had the best o-line in the nation but we fell well short.
