If we miss on Russell, either we're finished at RB or we go after an unoffered player like Shaq Powell or David Smith.

If we miss out on Russell, I'd prefer we not get another RB in this class. I'm not even too crazy about Russell, although I do want him. I think there's more talent in the 2013 class.

My thoughts exactly. Russell is Armando Allen take two, but I'd still like him on board.

To me, he is Theo Riddick pt. 2.

I would love to have him one way or the other.

we haven't even seen a theo riddick pt 1....we all are still waiting for that show to appear

its like a movie trailor that looks soo good but just never comes out to the movies...and then couple of years down the line you see it in a walmart bin for 4.99 on dvd

yea and its 1 of the $4.99 you stack up to make room to find the good movies.

I dont really see any RB left that stimulates me. if it comes down to 1 slot left do u want RB or a kid according to Pan wants to be here i rather have the extra ath/cb rios.

Lots of inhome visits and late officials, i dont know how the coaches make the choices to fill up last few spots. How do you say no or not yet to a kid cuz you gotta wait for playoff stars to finish and find time for visit. Then rick losing both

Still no update on his in home visit. For those who have been following recruiting longer than I, is it good news when there is silence after a visit?

I agree with the sentiment here. If we can get Russell, great. If not though, lets move on to getting a rb in next class.

What could he have learned on that visit that he didn't already know? Dude lives less than an hour from campus.

Wazzou lock. Ty Isaac is in lockdown mode starting now.

Is Ty Isaac a lock for us? Or is he a lock for someone else. Im starting to think Mahone will be our only running back in this years class. Next year is when we really go get them.

According to Hopkins on 247, he thinks it's a two team race with ND & Washington. Cal is out

Man, I was gone for a few hrs, and I come back to nothing but great news! Even though UW is still the team in the lead per every article I've read with this kid, it's still great to be in it. A big bowl win could help land us some awesome recruits...

A month ago didn't Russell say we were recruiting him the hardest? I think he is similar to Isiah Pead, and Kelly really liked Pead. Russell is 6' 175 runs a 4.55. Pead was 5'11 184 4.45.

Pead was one of the best players I have ever coached against. He is better than four and five stars I have had on my team or coached against. He was under rated and Kelly found him. Very good kid too on a personal level.

What makes you say that?

Everything. Note I didn't say "UW lock" because he could still pick ND; it just currently appears like UW has been recruiting him harder as of late and that will be his destination. I'll be very pleasantly surprised if not.
