There's an education minor available. Notre Dame also has the most innovative post-graduate education programs for Catholic high schools in the nation, if that's the road he wants to take. Hard to beat Peabody though.

Gunner Kiel lost his last high school football game 48-7. Obviously that doesn't fall entirely one man's shoulder but if he is truly the best quarterback prospect in the country this year, I can't believe that he couldn't lead his team to more than seven points.

I am also a bit concerned about what would motivate such a highly touted and purportedly talented player to commit to Indiana and, upon decomitting, seriously consider Vanderbilt. Perhaps he wants a challenge or wants to be a part of building something up or perhaps he wants a built excuse for losing in the event that the team he ends up with doesn't do so well with him at the helm.

Have you not been following this thread? All of these points have been covered Ad Nauseum for weeks if not months. He is rated the top pro style QB in the nation by people w much better evaluation skills than you, he values education and Vandy is only in the SEC by association. They are not like any of the others in terms of the caliber of the education that is provided, they are in a different class than all the other "schools" in the SEC. Seriously, you think he's considering a built in excuse for losing? If ever I was to use the 3 letter abbreviation for shake my head, this would be the time.

Gunner lost his last game 48 - 7 to arguably the best HS football program in the state. I absolutely hate Cathedral but have to give them their credit. Plus Columbus East is a NOBODY in football, and Gunner lead them to the final four...I'd say that's not too bad.

Officially didn't visit anywhere else this weekend. Have never seen more sites confirm something, then back pedal within the hour, then have it completely not happen.

One of the Test dates for the ACT was today so maybe that was the reason he left early.

I'm not sure what was unclear. According to Rivals, after leaving ND on Friday he DID NOT visit anywhere. It appears that he will not make any more visits (always apt to change) and it's going to be a Vandy/ND battle. In my mind it's going to really come down to where he feels the most comfortable and most wanted. If the ND coaches recruit him hard, he probably ends up here. If not, Vandy.

Conspiracy theory: He showed up early to tell Kelly of his decision. Kelly then gets to recruit the others all weekend with the knowledge he has Kiel committed?
