Yuri & Elijah came on late, so I never thought we would land them. However, given the recent visit by Diaco to the school and the sudden interest/scheduling of a visit, I think we have more than a decent shot, especially for Yuri - who has kept us in his top 5 since the beginning of the season.

In two weeks, I think this class could be full.

Should have some star power as well for you Team Ranking junkies

That's a true statement.

However, coaches were not focused on recruiting during that game. I don't think we'll see that many recruits at a game ever again. They were hoping for a big win, great atmosphere, etc to 'woo' recruits. But, we laid an egg.

These next few weeks are solely dedicated to recruiting. And that awards banquet should be a fun venue. Staff will have MUCH MUCH more 1 on 1 time with recruits and/or their families.

Yuri reminds me so much of Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie. He's is good in run support so I could see him as a FS. Elijah seems like he was always our #2 Safety behind Shaq.

I hope not. It really pisses me off that Theus basically went there to keep recruiting Keith Marshall to UGA. Not that I ever thought we had a real shot at Marshall but just the fact that there was negative recruiting by other kids visiting the campus, bothers me.

Well, it wasn't reported that way. I read that Theus was in Marshall's ear all weekend about UGA while on the trip to South Bend. It just bothered me to read that..

Back on topic.. I'd love to pick up Shumate and Yuri.. What an epic secondary class.

Wiould've love to have had him but you can't blame him for trying to get our GREAT recruits to play with him. That's what I love about our guys...they all want to be a part of our program! BANG BANG NOTRE DAME GANG!

This may just be the case of Brian Kelly being honest with him that he will get his shot and Safety but if he proves promising or needed at RB then its a possibility.
