Just like how Kiper & Co. had Clausen in the top 5, right? Or how Quinn was a guaranteed top 5 pick?

Manti is not a lock first rounder. Not even close. He won't slide out of the second round, but ILB is NOT a position highly drafted and he isn't even going to be the best ILB in the draft.
Not everyone had Clausen in the top 5. In fact there were a number of analyst that didn't even have him rated as a top 32 prospect. I know you all bag on him, but McShay didn't have him in the first round. McShay had the last laugh there.

It's pretty clear that if Manti was just another CFB star, he'd declare given his current draft projections.

But he's not. So all the debate over risk/ reward, possibility of injury, etc. is pointless. There's insurance for that kind of thing anyway.

Manti has been adamant that he isn't leaving ND without a degree. If he still feels that way, he's not declaring. Simple as that. Maybe he's changed his mind, but I haven't seen any indication of such.

This thread is pissing me off! No one, but Manti knows or can tell him what to do. I'm just going to wait and see if he enters the draft. If he does good for him. if he doesn't good for him. F this thread!

I may be wrong but the evaluation isn't just what draft position a player is projected, it also includes specifics as to what their strengths and weaknesses are.

If I'm a player that's eligible, it's a no brainer to get that feedback so I can spend the next year working on my weaknesses?

If they come back, at least they get the satifaction of BK kissing their @@@ one more time.... Not saying BK's call out before Navy was not warranted (warranted, poorly executed), but I'm sure deep down, his comments still sting a bit.

Teo reacted to a couple things this year...He was none too happy about Kelly's call out and less happy about the team being Booed. He seems like the kind of kid that moves forward w/o much of a grudge...but then who knows?

I'm betting if he gets 1st round grades he's gone no matter what.

I think Teo comes back. As posted, hes very religious and seems to be a very good person. I think he really cares about his younger team mates and will be back to help the ND program.
It'd be great if Eifert stays and I think he will, but I'm very much less worried about him going than Teo.
