OSUs defense is going to handle Denard..
Right, because Weis' classes weren't ranked exceptionally well...... and Charlie Weis wasn't a good offensive coordinator either.....
I will give you that Mattison has a good track record and that is one big difference (on paper). But let's ND's 3-9 team actually played pretty darn solid defense. I don't want to derail Garnett's thread so I'll cut it short here, but this team is going to have some big shoes to fill on defense and the OL after the next two years and there isn't anyone currently on the roster that can fill them. This helps with recruiting because they can promise early PT, but it will hurt them on the field.

Weis didn't recruit an impressive defensive haul until his third full class (2008).
His first "monster" recruiting class in 2006 had an incredible zero defensive linemen or linebackers rated four stars or higher. Zero.
I think he lands in Michigan.
I hope that he ends up following through with his planned visit to ND but I doubt even that happens.

Thank you to @umichfootball for showing me a great time I love it in michigan can't wait to be back! #GoBlue
moved date to Dec 9 when they have awards ceremonby
I see that Davonte Neal planned on visiting on that same date so maybe some bonding can happen there and see what happens.
I see if he kept his date on the 2nd he would have been there with Decker. That may have been better for ND with another OL commit talking in his ear about a solid O-line
Garnett, Keil, Neal. Is it possible that all 3 give verbals to ND? Wow, that would be special.
throw in Rios - Poole - Odenigbo on Defense and I'm a happy camper. Add Nelson on top of all that and someone is going streaking in the quad.
Was it Garnett or Banner that hung out w/ Kiel during most of the USC weekend?
I thought it was Banner. Could be wrong, though.
If Garnett had visited for USC, he wouldn't be visiting this weekend.
