What? Now that is delusional. Each one of those teams is about the same as we are at this point. Would be a great game.

Basically for Michigan to go to the BCS, LSU has to beat Georgia and a couple other things have to happen. Wisconsin has to win by A LOT, MSU has to win by a little. Texas has to beat Baylor. And OKSt has to throttle OU. An Oklahoma win means that both those teams will be eligible for a BCS slot.

You must be watching a different FSU team. I watched that undisciplined group of thugs lose to Wake Forest for crying out loud. They lost to every above average team on their schedule (unless you count Florida as above average, I do not). I think Clemson is a very good team, but I would welcome a matchup against FSU. I think we would be favored in the game actually.

Gotta agree with Wooly on this one. You're being way too hard on this team right now and acting like they haven't played dominant football at all this year. The flu, injuries, mental mistakes and average QBing ravaged this team all season.

We should be healthy for the bowl and Hendrix should be comfortable in his own lengthy package. Don't just look at the negatives and assume we're going to lose because FSU or Clemson have speed guys. We're favored against FSU by 7-9 IMO.. They are twice as sloppy as our sloppiest.

FSU doesn't have too many playmakers on offense aside from Manuel, who as aforementioned, is inconsistent. However, their defense is very athletic, and they'll be blitzing hard. That being said, I think we can beat them in a close game. I really believe that Clemson would rock ND. The speed they have on offense would slaughter our defense and Sammy Watkins would be burning Gary Gray or Blanton all day long. Tajh Boyd is a slower version of Denard who can throw. That game would be a mismatch and I have a hard time seeing ND win.

Well if Lynch, Tuitt and Nix are healthy we should dominate their o-line. Flemming and whoever is playing the dog LB spot (Niklas?) need to keep contain on Manuel. i fear our offense will struggle with their speed on D though. BTW I know you have seen how good Timmy Jernigan is. He scares me going against Golic Jr and a young Watts.

I can't wait 'til they announce this bowl schedule, I'll be making the two hour trek north to Orlando to see my second Irish game! I might even stay to catch Nebraska's Capitol One bowl game, or go back to Tampa for the Outback Bowl! Gonna be a fun week of College Bowl Games!

I made the trip to the 2008 Capital One Bowl Game (played at same stadium as Champs Bowl, Citrus Bowl Stadium)

Great experience. Great food. Great city. And most importantly, GREAT game. ND fans making their first trip to Orlando, you're gonna have fun.

Funny thing is, if (I think they will) state loses to wisconsin this weekend and ND does in fact go to the Champs Sports Bowl. You will most likely have encounters with some state fans as seeing that the B1G title game loser will go to the Capital One Bowl. When my group and I went to Orlando, state was playing in the Champs Sports Bowl and we saw a lot of their fans during game week from seeing them at the hotel to going restaurants and seeing green t-shirts.

Michigan's defense, despite its lofty ranking, was cornholed against any decent team it faced. ND and MSU specifically. Had Miller connected with even one of those deep posts they would have lost that game. Keenum is going to have a field day and I will smile.
