Nelson is the kind of kid that you can't predict:

- He has offers from everywhere
- He plays it close to the vest
- He's smart enough to go anywhere and smart enough to understand what each school offers
- He's doesn't seem anchored to home

I would have guessed USC for a lot of reasons, but I like our chances against Florida if it comes to that.

So how many guys Nelson follows on Twitter is where he will end up?

When he's constantly tweeting with current USC recruits and players... and retweeting their jersey... etc. it really doesn't make me feel good about Notre Dame's chances as the out of state contender. But we'll see. I just find it odd that he doesn't interact wit ha single Notre Dame guy but interacts with many USC dudes if we're supposed to be ahead of them.

Exactly.

And just out of curiosity, if players are allowed to interact with recruits on Twitter, why isn't everyone taking full advantage of this?

Exactly.

Some do, Kendall Moore tweeted a couple times with Keith Marshall... Lynch interacts with Armstead and Okwara on occasion.

I don't think however that current players can say anything like, "hey see you when you are here on campus next year," or, "hey ND fans follow Player X, future Irish QB." I believe only other recruits can do that because they are not part of a program.

For the record, I think I am with Lax on this. I know Chris Nee said at one point that he thought it was an ND UF battle and he is apparently the only guy Nelson talks to but there are literally no other signs that point to ND.

Trying to be positive here... He's been a USC fan his whole life, and that hasn't changed. Just because he's a fan of the school doesn't mean he will attend. But having said that, it obviously doesnt look good.

“@NelsonAgh3: First in home visit from uf, the best part about it was the smile on my mother and god mothers face when the coaches talked about me”

? NO one has any idea where this kid is going. he visited us and loved it. He doesnt talk to reporters and everything i have been told its a Notre dame Florida battle. UF leads. USC is the dark horse.

I have no clue where this kid is going but if Kieth Marshall had tweeted something like this everyone would be saying Georgia lock including you. So whats the difference?

Cause Keith loves to talk and is very vocal. He has publicly had Georgia is his leader and his childhood favorite. Nelson is quiet and has doesnt talk much and all he has pretty much said is he is very close with the Kiffins.

Now wait a minute, I've read on here that USC was his dream school. If he is close with the Kiffin's why are they a darkhorse?

Distance. USC is his dream school but he hasn't visited there since last summer so if he visits again watch out.

Just saw a tweet....UF was the first school to drop by and visit. His mom and god mother had smiles across their faces when the coaches were talking about Nelson.

don't be surprised if urban stops by to pay a visit as well...might not make a difference, but we'll find out how tight is ties are to florida right off the bat.

So if we landed Nelson, how many top 25 WRs would we have in this class?
