Very disappointing, looking at back to back 8-5 seasons. Woo-hoo progress. ****

Wouldn't be as bad if the loses weren't a blooper reel of giving games away. At least they were out played by a better team tonight.

I'm actually not as upset as I was at halftime. I am proud of the way the D played the second half. I was also pleased with Hendix. He made some plays, and showed he has a high ceiling. He should start the bowl game.

Agreed on all counts.

Agree completely. Hendrix is going to be a good QB

Our O-line lost this game. This reminds me of 2007 where we simply could not deal...this is a sad, sad regression. Yes they ran some stunts etc...but come on...too many guys unblocked too many times...too many penalties...

Some of this is coaching...alot of it is just wilting under the pressure....GEEZ!

Where are our leaders...when will they make a difference?

Oh how I hope and I pray that one day Notre Dame will be and elite team again just so I can get the Alabama fans off my back

I have been wondering this all season long.

I can see some leadership in Hendrix though, a lot more than Rees

Not gonna happen any time soon. Next year will be worse than this year. OUCH!

This last drive is what kind of offense Brian Kelly runs. Hendrix looks good just needs more game time experience.

For the most part, I saw a great effort by the defense. But the O-line really let us down. And Rees, well, he seems to have regressed as many feared. Not sure what the QB picture looks like for next year. But I hope Gunner is a part of it.

Why wasn't Hendrix getting more PT, especially in the blowout games?

I'm sure reporters will ask BK that question... No one on here truly knows the answer right now.

I'm not too upset with this loss. I think Hendrix got some invaluable experience and confidence. Hopefully Kelly keeps giving him reps up until the bowl game and he plays even better then.

The defense played a solid game as usual.

I am a little disturbed that the coaches didn't go for it on those two last 4th downs..

This board drives me nuts. Go Hendrix. I loved Rees but Hendrix showed us all tonight.

Well we out scored them 14-7 in the second half. The defense played as well as you could hope being that the offense did not help at all inthe first half. Blanton was horrible in the first half. Hendrix played very nicely considering the lack of playing time. I will be very disappointed if Rees ever gets another snap. Rees was adequate this year but he was too limiting for the offense. The only concern I have is that we will have another learning curve for the QBs next year with either Hendrix or Golson. Hopefully we will dominate the bowl game and haves good recruiting year.
