I had no idea Troy Lee Designs did football jerseys! They've always been the top brand when I was in Motorcross. I would have NEVER guessed they would design jerseys for the Irish...straight up awesome.

I find the "kelly" green shamrock to be distracting.

I can't even remember anymore when I was that young to ravenously crave such things.... I WOULD like to do something like sit in a room in the Gug with Kelly and really talk Notre Dame football, recruiting, strategy et al ... I could "get into" something like that. But... to all you youngun's who want the "toys": hope you get your wishes sooner or later. Xmas is coming.....

Was at the game, up close and personal, and the concensus seemed to be (and I agree) was that the helmets were awesome and the unis looked great! Idk how they looked on tv

I guess I am more traditional. The helmets looked cartoonish and like an arena football team.

There are just some uniforms you don't screw with, and that includes the Irish traditional look.

Did not read all of the posts......but I liked the uniforms. The only beef I have is that they need to make the shamrock on the helmet the same color as the green in the jersey, OR make the jersey the same color green as the shamrock. That's my only complaint.

I cringed every time a close up of one of our players was shown...haha
I wasnt a fan of the swirled gold...now the new regular helmet gold with a shamrock that matches the green of the alt. Jersey....yes please...I would love that. The Michigan helmets with those jerseys would be pretty sweet.
